  1. The folks back home keep you in our thoughts and we appreciate your service. We keep you and your families in our prayers every day.
  2. I just went to the scrap yard, they also sell new steel, found a piece of 2" square tubing and it is thicker walled because I wanted to weld on it, went about 20" longer than stock. For the cost of one solid piece I would not even try to piece something together. They did have steel in stock the same size as the original size but most of my trailers use 2" so. . . I unbolted the stock piece, and used it as a template, drilled the new and it bolted right on. I did change the coupler for one designed for 2" tubing. After welding on the cooler rack and painting the new tongue and Undrilled the rivets holding the VIN plate and riveted it on the new tongue. The length may not be required but it pulls very nice with it. Worst thing when pulling a trailer is a tail heavy trailer will wag. The faster you go the worse it will get. The cooler rack helps offset this but it is also something to be mindfull of when loading, keep the tongue at about 20#. Pulling this you will forget it is even there and thats another reminder to swing wider just like pulling any other trailer.
  3. looks like his bracket sticks out far enough to take an ole lady down at the cross walk
  4. I would skip the plywood and stick a sheet of diamond plate aluminum just to stay maintenance free, build a cooler rack on the tongue. I uses 2x2 tubing and put a new coupler on it, I set it to where my chairs fit between the cooler and topper. I put my spare tire on the tubing for the tongue and it sits all the way back with the valve accessable (nothin worse than a flat spare). I also used flyinfools design to run a third brake light running on a four flat plug, so I can still use it behind a car or truck. . .
  5. Friction zone a must, I use rear brake alot and never never jam on the front while turning.
  6. did you video putting that thing down in da basement??

  10. If you can buy aircraft gas, it has no ethanol and it won't varnish. If our government wanted to get really better gas mileage they would nix the ethanol, your gas mileage goes up without the ethanol. I have used marine stabil in everything gas I own, except my cars, and it works fine. My marina suggested it after I had three of four injectors replaced, one at a time and over time ( Under warranty ). I have not had an issue since.
  11. I ran a 4 flat from the converter to the HF led lights, works awesome. threw on a few xtra led's, if I needed to pull it with a car or truck it's just plug and go
  12. low idle jet plugged on one carb or the coil or spark plug wire or plug itself. let it run for a few minutes and feel the exhaust, they should be about the same. If one is cooler , check for spark. If you have spark that means u have a fuel delivery problem.
  13. Ok, I read that the led's can cause a harmonic loop that causes the radio interference, so wouldn’t some diodes break the loop??
  14. what did you use to polish it??
  15. It seems to me it's in the same place as it was on my first gen but now I have to go look at the left side of my bike:think:

    Thank

I will go on record that I missed it, but in my humble opinion if the seafoam doesn't work soak it in warm water and pine sol , blow it out and don't forget to change the damned blinker fluid. . .
  17. I am finally insulating and drywalling my garage, all hung and all I have is a little mud and taping to do. The wife wants to finish the garage floor, I stopped by a friends yesterday and he said don't do it. I do work on things in my garage and use a jack. . . He tells me the painted and epoxy floor surfaces won't hold up to jacks and turning tires. The question is has anyone put some finish on their garage floors, what type and how does it hold up to moving jacks, shop tools on rollers or wheels . . .
  18. Cougar, visually I like a smaller relay and a bigger battery, just sayin 4 hangin in da garage

  22. bet those tires will cost a bunch and tough to inspect and balance. Looks cool though
  23. have one, pulled it several times including to maintenance day, followed all the threads, repack bearings, remove 1 spring, hose covering back bolt, led lights, longer tongue with a cooler rack, made a tongue stand with two pieces of angle. very lite and pulls awesome
  24. She intentionally hit an agent and carried him several hundred yards on the hood of her car. Cars are used as weapons all the time, get a woman good and mad and a set of keys and see how long you stand before her. Cars are used as instruments to inflict injury and death on people all the time. Reminds me of the lady that "accidently" hit her husband 15 times and was stopped as she was backing over his body.
  25. Thoughts and prayers
