Agree with Brian, I was researching this for my garage and found that if it's electric x watts gets you x heat, anything new and electric have about 99% efficiency.

Congrats on a successful hunt. European's are easy to diy have a friend that puts them in a roaster full of water on low for about 10hrs then to the car wash for a light power wash. I finally did a white tail shoulder mount and learned alot there, taxidermists earn their money.

Being one of 7 kids we had a lot of eventful Christmas holiday antics. My father worked at one of the local hospitals. We always went to midnight mass and when we got home we would find that Santa had visited. I was about 12 years old, while we were leaving church my folks found out that a fire had destroyed the house of one of my father's co-workers. As we all were loaded in the station wagon my folks were taking forever and we were anxious to get to the goods. When they returned to the station wagon my father informed us that we were going to open presents but that we would have to set aside one gift each. The feeling of being robbed came over me and I know my brothers and sisters also. It was an absolutely blind draw as we decided what to give up, it was agonizing. This was the one day where we could stay up late, and the night was getting longer. My folks informed us we were going to be delivering our gifts. We arrived and went into the basement of a house where a temporary arrangements for the family were set up. A lot of folks brought food and clothes by but the presents were thin pickins. As we saw the family the feelings changed to shame. This night turned into a huge unplanned party of epic proportions that didn't end until it was daylight.

you can hang a SMALL TANK with good gas directly hooked to the carbs or bypass the pump and see if she will run or idle. If it does it is the pump, also check that fuel filter, also could be the filter or the petcock is off, on that bike , if my memory serves correct, I thinks it's on right side , low near pegs. look at this http://labs.trunkful.com/vrmanuals/index.cfm -

Art, if the bike was running when parked a little work could get you running and you will find it's one of the nicest bikes you will ever ride. Not knowing how it was parked I would change the oil, filter, plugs. . . put a new battery in, unhook the gas tank and put some fresh gas in a small tank connected up and try turning her over. You may get lucky right there. If it will run you could always seafoam her, then hit the manual and do your maintenance and inspections. Even if the tires look good change them out, I would not trust old tires. If you do have to refresh the carbs you can always find members who live close that can lend their experience to you. Great resources and folks here and it's the best $12.00 you will ever spend . . . Good luck and keep us posted

How the hostess company is being split up

Thats so politically incorrect, absolutely true. . . -
Pulls almost too awesome, you can forget it's back there. Followed all the suggestions in the thread on updates , longer tongue, cooler rack, repack bearings, remove lief spring and add a piece of hose. . . and it pulls awesome. I did switch to all led's and added a high center light. Made a tongue stand from scrap angle. You are seeing more and more of them and I have never heard any issues with the 8" tires. I bolted a spare over the axle with a u bolt and made a simple jack with a 2x6 that has a notch to hold the tire about 2 1/2 off the ground, dirty and easy. Someone is making a plug in harness for your isolator , so no wires to cut You can find coupons from HF and get a great deal.

I love marine stabol, and my experience is it works in your gas but don't put any in your blinker fluid. It will make it flash fast. . .
-
I have always used marine stabil, I double it up for winter storage and have used in my bikes, tractor, boats and jet skis without a problem. You need to run it into your carbs and fill the tank up. Rode the bike yesterday but that way it's ready to park.

It says you don't need a motorcycle license, but here in Illinois any motor driven cycle at or over 50cc requires a MC license, any electric vehicle that can exceed 20mph or has a motor that exceeds 750 watts requires license plates and a valid MC drivers license, class L under 150cc, class M 150cc and over. Next it does not qualify as a neighborhood electric vehicle since it can exceed 20mph. Does anyone know what a 750 watts electric motor is to hp? what would the cc equivelant be??
-
Blinker was sticking, I changed the blinker fluid and slid a little seafoam in and then it flashed too fast. I had to re-drain and put in strait blinker fluid to get it right. Now it works as it should. . .

That should have been covered in the five year warranty, if a weld is not covered, then what is? That is not normal maintenance unless there is an accident or misuse. Glad you got it fix'd, reminds us to check our bikes for the general condition. He did unhook the battery before welding on it didn't he?
