First you need some range time with some handguns. For semi-auto's you need to do some drills ie: press check, tap rack bang, magazine changes. These should be done so when you have a malfunction you correct it without even thinking. Next shoot and shoot some more. Live fire drills where you draw, keep the weapon into your chest and fire. Draw and fire, holster and repeat. Then moving with a weapon, no pointing your weapon in the air, you should be tactical , in the hunt or into your chest but always in control. 9mm, .40 or .45 are all good rounds. In caliber the question would would you rather be hit by a baseball thrown at 100mph ( 9mm) or a bowling ball thrown at 45mph (.45) Wheel guns are easy to carry and don't have some downfalls that can come with a semi auto, but do have some of their own. You still need to do your range drills and your tactics are similar if not the same. .38 / .357 are standard but a .45lc or .44 are good also. A five shot .38 is easy to conceal and packs enough punch. Most of the major manufacturers have fine weapons off the shelf, a decent gunsmith can clean up the bearing surfaces and improve the weapon. If you are going to rely on it for defense you want it to be reliable. Reloads are fine for the range but production ammo for carry or home defense.

So I'm at Wal-Mart buying a bag of Purina dog food for my dog. While in the check-out line, a woman behind me asked if I had a dog. Why else would I be buying dog food, RIGHT??? So on impulse I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, I was starting the Purina Diet again, and that I probably shouldn't because I ended up in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in intensive care with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms. I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and all you do is load your pockets with Purina Nuggets, and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The food is nutritionally complete, so it works well, and I was going to try it again. (I have to mention here that practically everyone in line was now enthralled with my story.) Horrified, she asked if I ended up in intensive care because the dog food poisoned me. I told her no, I stepped off a curb to sniff a poodle's butt and a car hit me. I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack, he was laughing so hard. Better watch what you ask me, and be prepared for my answer. I have all the time in the world to think of crazy things to say.

yep, wife and I both have iphones and same thing. They work fine as long as it is ripped from the original artists cd, but do not like the best of . . . I would play it and when it came to a song that froze, delete and play until you repeat. I am sure it's anti piracy thing but a huge pita.

anyone used the mushroomed shaped plugs and co2 thing??? really think holes should be patched from inside and plugs are emergency only

isimple and IPOD came with my bike, actually I had to address it with the dealer who did not know, anyways I installed it and it worked flawlessly until Apple did a firmware upgrade. Now it will just stop on some songs, usually the best of the 70's types of albums. I spent enough time and now I use my iphone plugged into the cassette player. I have seen other isimple users have the same problems, Im sure I could work it out but I like using my gps on my phone and listening to songs at the same time.

Just a question, what does the spare tire on the sidecar fit, only the sidecar or do they have it designed so the wheels are interchangable ??

its alot safer to find a small drop off or a ditch to back up to. Have done this with the truck as opposed to a ramp.

I would consider metal frame with expanded metal so you are not catching so much air. 8' seems long , is the trailer frame level to the ground??

Did you install the block to relocate the lights so you can split the fairing without removing the lights?? Did you put LED's in them?? soooo many unanswered questions

He was next to a guy selling lifts ( very stout lifts at that ) and still need a lift to change tires and other maintenance. Moving it in the garage is cool and the guy was cleaning the tire rims . . . and it looked sweet. A couple feet of storage is huge in the garage, I put the wife's boat on dollies to push it against the wall in winter. Maybe Carbon One will see this and figure out how to put wheels under his adapters with the legs. These things looked like 1/4" steel.

Jeff, the buzz could be because you were in the garage, if you are near a overhead power line that may also cause it. If you are outside and it's still making that noise I would look at the inside radio used to receive and see if its buzzing when listening to others. Everything we use these days is rf and has the ability to cause interference. We chase these gremlins all the time at work and find a lot of innocent overlooked culprits causing noise or interference.

Muscle memory, repeat them over and over and they become second nature. When ewe trained officers we recorded the evoc training and in part because people would say I'm not doing that, then watch the video and realize they were. We all pick up bad habits and don't realize it and the best thing we can do is remind each other and readjust our skills. Kudos

Wife and I went to the Chicago Motorcycle Show and checked out lots of cool stuff and both ended up with new brain buckets that weigh about 1/4 of what the old ones weigh. One of the coolest things I saw was a "Park N Move" for the garage. They make two models one that would work with a first gen and one that works with a second gen. Does anyone with a second gen here have or use one?? I questioned if it was tall enough, the guy demo's it with a Harley but to me it looks like the Harley is lower to the ground. I went to the motorcycle show in Chicago this weekend and told my wife on the way I wanted to take the class, they have one in Michigan. I have the dvd and when weather breaks I will map out some drills on a parking lot to practice with. very cool and congrats

I get mine at truck supply, farm and fleet or construction supply , I Love made in the USA long, as can't be made in China. Good ones will be rust resistant with a wide thick strap. OSHA straps are even more money but are tested and taken care of will last you a lifetime. . .
