  2. Nothing you can't assemble in a parking lot in short order and pull home, I would repack bearings during assembly to only do it once. Bring a short scrap of garden hose or buy a short piece at a hardware store for the back springs, put some hf leds on the tail and caa it a day. Once at home you can tackle the tongue and cooler rack mod
  3. I do pandora from my phone plugged into cassette player jack. The plus is it's free, I can take it with me and still use the gps function on the phone . . .
  4. thats the fun part
  5. That's awesome, congrats
  6. Don't forget you have a 600 mile checkup and if I remember it was oil, adjustments . . . and that was another $200 or so dollars. I bought a new one in 2011 and it is nice knowing that you are the only registered owner, breakin. Mine has 2 miles on it. Make sure you get your isimple/ipod with it and a good walk around

  8. that router specs are 300mbps, try unplugging everything except your computer, turn the wifi off and restart it and test again. If it doesn't improve you should check your settings and check for a firmware update. if that doesn't fix it and you know you have good cables try to reset it to factory specs to see if that fix's it.
  9. If you are paying cash you can negotiate about 17000.00 plus tax and title I would say. If you are adding safety chrome that will raise the price.

  11. A longer piece of steel to replace the tongue is cheap and greatly improves the geometry. The cooler rack is also helpful. When you load you never want to be tail heavy so load accordingly.

  13. the speed is limited by the slowest component connected in your path, change out the wire and try that first. If not look at the card on your computer and see what it's capabilities are with relation to speed. A firmware update may help or a new card or new computer.
  14. now that's just mean
  15. Howard, I put on the free Pandora and my GPS. If it sends me around something I do it and I have seen traffic completely snarled as I drive by on a side road and the redirected back to where I want to go. I hate sittin in traffic so it works for me. . .
  16. I rode all winter a year ago, this year not so much. Now it hurts to say but I understand the Harley guys trailering this time of year to get a chance to jump on.

  20. I have seen that, my thought was I could attach it to a plate clamped to the lower frame and leave the holes under the center for my lift adapter. I never looked to see how far back and how it was attached to the first gen. I might need pictures. . .
  21. Hey, according to them I am a senior
  22. Ok, I have a center stand and after looking at it was trying to figure out a different way to mount it up, I do miss that from my first gen. I helpped a harley buddy put one on his bike and it was attached to a plate that clamped to the frame with like 3/8 steel. Other projects going but one I want to finish.
  23. Thoughts and prayers
  24. Don, do you still have the center stand on your bike?? If so do you find that you use it
