scrap the hf hydraulic, go to a farm store and buy the biggest hydraulic jack that will fit that can be repaired. You will need to drill to fit but it's far cheaper than a new jack. You can try a hydraulic oil for leaky jacks but it will leak again, it needs new seals.

The "Drive thru Window" At Skydoc_17's House Is Now Open!
dacheedah replied to skydoc_17's topic in Watering Hole
The reason not to start with a lawyer is that if you hire a lawyer, and the defense is not valid in your state, the lawyer negotiates the payment you could have done with a little leg work and they get a 1/3. Now lets say the damages are 10,000. you end up with 6,000. and are out the difference. I suggest keeping a log, everyone you talk to, date and time, every paper you are sent. . . denial . . . They must prove their claim first, in order to do that they must submit medical documents to you and they can't hide behind hipaa to do that. Most states require where they accept the "defense" is that it is unforeseeable. If they were diagnosed as an epileptic and have had a fit, it would be foreseeable that once they have an episode at some point in the future they will have another. If the physician signed off or they signed at the dmv they were in good health waiver when renewing their DL, they would have misrepresented the truth. Next if your state does not accept this as a defense, you should have that conversation with your agent. Since they must prove it to your agent, ask him for the documents as it's his responsibility to defend the insured's best interest. My next question is what company insures the other party? Car and homeowner? If they are both covered by the same insurance company that would be good to know. Next every state has a department that regulates insurance and they can provide some good information to you including your rights to have the incident reviewed. When all is done you should have a binder with facts and information, if you end up having to take that to a lawyer not only will it help your case but it will reduce their billable hours. Use your tax paid employees first, http://www.insurance.pa.gov/portal/server.pt/community/insurance_department/4679 http://palawblog.stark-stark.com/2010/11/articles/personal-injury/sudden-medical-emergency-doctrine/ know your rights, you may be entitled to have your case reviewed or investigated. I'm not against going to a lawyer, just not up front. If anyone tells you something 1) request it in writing, if they are telling you the truth they have nothing to hide 2) It will at some point prove useful to you in the future because it will lock their position and it will help you and other parties not mis-speak. 3) if they raised this as a defense they must medically prove that a) a condition caused the incident and b) that they did not know the condition existed c) they took an ambulance ride as a result of the accident and were evaluated. -

The "Drive thru Window" At Skydoc_17's House Is Now Open!

Don't care that his insurance has this as a writer, http://web.law.und.edu/LawReview/issues/web_assets/pdf/87/87-2/87ndlr233.pdf 1:) Does your state recognize this as a defense, if not it can not be raised. 2:) The driver must prove that such a condition existed, if they have had previous seizures and claim a seizure the defense won't work because it was foreseeable, insurance back on the hook. Ask your agent to provide you with the documents that prove the condition, the medical records from the ambulance . . . see if he blinks, can't tell you you can't have it they must prove it to claim it so you are entitled to it. 3:) If their car insurance doesn't cover it, do they have homeowners insurance?? They might be next on the hook. 4:) They are still liable to make you whole, no other way around it. I would not get a lawyer until you absolutely need it. You don't want them to get the 1/3 cost of repair and be on the hook for that if you don't need to. -
If that fails, duct tape it shut

When I started my job on the police dept I drove a 1950 Studebaker Champion. I decided it was time for a new car so I went to a Toyota dealership. I wanted a Celica and I had been pre approved by my credit union, fresh out of the service and I had no bills. I went to the Toyota dealership and was looking at the Celica and the salesman had me step back and wiped my fingerprints from the car and asked me not to touch it. After an hour in the dealership I got nowhere and was very mad, I went across the street where a Subaru dealer had opened up and the salesman was very accommodating. I drove and then bought a Subaru and drove through the lot of the Toyota dealership to "wave". The car was totally awesome, my dad bought it from me and he had it turn over 300,000. miles before my sister was in an accident and it was totaled. I was just talking to my dad about that car the other day as one of the best, behind the Studebaker, that was just an awesome machine.

another thought is to get a piece that will slide over your tongue and pin it in place, when you want to park in the garage you could slide the hitch back in to make it shorter. -
Whine, yes in certain ranges Rattle, nope. . . try going around and check for loosened allen bolts . . . An inchpound torque wrench with metric allens is an awesome investment. Check all fluid levels, not a bad time to perform your pm's

Just saw this in a restaurant, cut in half and mounted to a board with a plaque as an award. . . Looked pretty awesome

My first gen and my new bike always fired right up, with the choke on, for about 30-60 sec run time and then ride on. -
