  1. an actuator could be set up to retract it if being down is a problem.
  2. almost room to slide it out from between bag and tire forward and down, pivot back up and slide back to store. . .
  3. Ok it came, mp3s were converted from ipod acc files. Sounded ok as a stand alone mp3. Sounded scratchy when on the venture. Adjusted the output volume down on the cassette mp3 player and it sounded better, not great. You must charge the mp3 player before use, don't know how long it lasts for but it came with lighter plug, house plug and headphones. Not bad with headphones. On the bike if you ff the cassette it goes on an endless search for next track. Using the remote that came with it works well, not what I want to do while driving. 4. Lot of tight pipe bending with mandrel bender but I don't see why not. Would use ss pipe on those puppies.
  5. I don't see that it uses a separate power source for the power to your lights. You want one that isolates your trailer lights and has a separate power source so the lights are completely independent circuits.
  6. In the freezer top take out the top panel. If it is thick with ice the defrost is your problem. Get a hair drier out and defrost it. If your defrost drain it could be the problem, more likely a thermostat or timer and both are cheap to fix. You can test them with an ohm meter. plenty of youtube video's or diy refrigerator repair things. Cost me about 28.00 to fix one at work doing the same thing. If you defrost it will work for a few days until iced up again and gradually get warmer.
  7. Aftermarket radio or remote starter??
  8. I have worked under STUPID, with STUPID. . . who were given instructions and incorrectly repeated it back to an instructor almost immediately at a training or shift briefing. We LEO's are an awesome group but we also remember that within our ranks there are those who just ARE. If you are carrying a weapon that is not safe with a round in the chamber, you just shouldn't be carrying that weapon. I remember an old Lieutenant that kept his hammer on an empty cylinder. We showed him you could not, would not fire without your finger on the locator button. Even pulled the hammer back, released with trigger and then taking our finger off the trigger let the hammer drop. Still had convinced himself that LEO's all over the country were shooting themselves in the foot without touching there weapons. Don't get me wrong there are some old crappy guns out their but anything worth carrying is worth carrying loaded. Chambering a round may be cool in the movies but the first thing a bad guy should hear is bang. . .

  11. It can be in a soft case, does not need to be locked or even a locking case but must be unloaded. Crazy thing is you can have a loaded magazine in the case with it and thats ok, but put the loaded magazine in the weapon and that constitutes uuw in Illinois. Most S/A'w will not charge it but that depends on what county you are in. You can take it into your motel room, tent . . . 2 situations where you can transport in Illinois are: 1) broken down and in a non firing state or 2) unloaded and cased it also must not be immediately accessible so under the seat is bad, glove box, behind truck seat or trunk are acceptable ( on bike in saddle bag ). They are out fighting those details now, At one point a off duty LEO could not carry in state park but a hunter could, welcome to Illinois , , , http://www.isp.state.il.us/foid/firearmsfaq.cfm

  15. Living in Illinois all I can say is thing God for HR218, been pushing our legislature to enact legislation the same as surrounding states for my non-leo brothers and sisters. I do remember taking a college class in 1981, I went from class to work and attending in uniform and the professor did not want a gun in the class. It ended up turning into a big deal because some collegiate types wanted the campus to be a gun free zone. The police chief went to the board for the college, after a lot of discussion the community spoke out against the college attempting to disarm the police. The college wanted officers (even on duty) to secure their weapons before entering the campus, that ended up an epic failure . The college was also in our jurisdiction, in the end the chief professor had to suck it up. Things you never thought would be a problem.

  21. ok I was focused on breaks, what gear are you in and about how fast are you going when you let off the throttle? Try running down an empty road and pull the clutch in and see if the result with no trans is the same feeling.
