  1. recommended 87, anything else is burnin money
  2. put in a test ground, spike the wire at each connector, if it works at the device move back until it doesn't and you have isolated that. I would check fuse and the serviceability of the fuse holder first.
  3. awesome bike
  4. I just thought we would grow in numbers as we approached Don's. I like riding in, through and around Michigan.
  5. Ok sounds like a plan we will wait for you here, not sure if anyone else is coming through here this year.
  6. If I know you are coming we will wait, we'll be two up pullin a trailer. r you planning on shooting across 17 ??
  7. very hot water and pinesol will clean the varnish out, soak overnight and rinse again with hot water. Use air or a circulating pump with hot water to clean the small passages. I wouldn't stick anything in them but use air to blow through passages.
  8. last year we left here at about 5pm and did that, we hit traffic and knew we would but it seemed to take forever. we came back on 80 and I know the wife preferred that since it was much smoother and faster, used the ipass, hopin to make it to dinner.
  9. awesome and a great group here scattered from all over and always someone who knows about those lil gremlins that creep in. Will ya be headed to MD or the international??
  10. we used a heat gun on low for taking decals off squads. If they have been there a while you will see the outline of the decal, where it protected the paint from mr sun.
  11. I would suggest running through a switch and then a relay to the lights.
  12. I am off on friday now, what time you takin off???
  13. Both sides played hard and made it enjoyable to watch, definitely made the blood flow.
  14. That's a recommendation and what they teach in motorcycle safety, what I posted was the actual law, what da judge must use in court. It is reprinted every other year and in the odd years they reprint the cheat sheet.
  15. Shatter resistant is not the same standard as shatter proof. I am hopeful that while riding we don't encounter anything bigger than a bug. Butt it is Illinois so tile countertops on the roadway may be a possibility. . .
  16. As soon s I can get off Ill head that way, i expect it will b late afternoon friday
  17. Da Hawks
  18. What app does it show??
  19. You really want to isolate your circuits , 46365 isolates them so if you have a short on trailer side it does not damage bike side wiring.

  21. and it depends, the best calculator will use lat long but it's one of those you won't know until you try. http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=90
  22. congrats
  23. I agree don't cut, now I like a 5 to 4 so I run a 4 flat. My trailer has a high center brake light that I wired up with some diodes and relays but I can plug it into anything else and pull it. What you want is the lights isolated , like the Hopkins 46255, autozone, walmart , farm and fleet. . . should have one that works
  24. We used to have two full wave antennas we built stacked and on a rotor, when games were blacked out in Chicago we turned toward our friends in Indy or Champaign to watch. I felt like I was always climbing that tower to fix this or that but we never had a bill. Tons of designs online for HDTV antennas http://www.diytvantennas.com/ http://ka-foto.se/album/pask/thumbs/diy-antenna-tv-i18.png You could do a little research and build a fringe or deep fringe or deep fringe antenna for a little effort it will pay off.
  25. sweetness, will we b Cing him at MD or the international??
