  1. I agree with Jeff, protect the wiring by isolating the circuit could save lot$ of ca$h down the road.
  2. mine is behind seat under trunk, zipped tied up

  4. Man, Kevhead, I know I looked away for a second,, then s n a p
  5. Now that is a good lookin back seat rider, ever seen her on a quarter horse?
  6. Learned to tighten the bearings to 50 ft lbs to seat, then back off and hand tighten plus 1/4 turn or where the cotter goes. Wheel should turn freely. Bearing buddies only keep water out and hold grease against the bearing and do work well but nothing replaces hand packing and checking or replacing the seals and bearings. Annual ritual for 4 trailers, a couple hours in the comfort of my yard replaces many uncomfortable hours on the side of the road in the middle of no where. Extra set of bearings pre packed in trailer is good cheap insurance.
  7. The 2015 Venture will be out April 1st, keep your one good eye out for it.
  8. The HID ( I have the 5000) does a very good job at reflecting wild animal eyes and reflective signs. Wonder if the LED will do the same
  9. When you split the fairing, it's next to the hydraulic blinker reservoir
  10. Northern tools has a par36 flood , http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200616639_200616639 , peel it out of the housing and it should be a direct fit
  11. I built one from 1" angle and put lights that plug into my trailer wiring. It is a lite hauler, it doesn't take a lot of weight before it effects the handling.
  12. I bet a dirty old quarter the engine is flooded
  13. run the power from battery to a relay and a ground from battery to the light. I moved my ballast inside the fairing on the right side and have ferrite beads on the power wires near the ballast.
  14. overfilled? possible from the airbox, when you changed the oil last did you also change the crush washer
  15. Back support belt can help with the back, it is all about your position on the saddle. Strengthening back muscles can help and that's where some therapy may make it more tolerable. If you put on a back rest make sure to put it in a position that encourages good posture in the saddle and that will help also. As for the shock, as Freebird says if you get the pogo after hitting a bump, time for new.
  16. I would think 2 amps is too low. If that does it I would go out for a nice ride.
  17. Yep another reason to learn to wrench.
