re check axle is 56 ft lbs and pinch bolt tightened to 13 ft lbs. Also check the rotors, did you see them perform the work??

make sure it's full, put a tight clear hose on the bleeder valve into a jar with some break fluid pump the breaks and hold, have someone crack open the valve until you bottom out.( do not let off) tighten while holding and repeat. A lot of people swear by vacuum pumps.

First I would plug it into another source and move the wire around to make sure it's not in the wire, connector or mp3 player. Step 2 would be the connection inside the fairing, but if you get in there you might as well install a Y cable to it and run the one for your mp3 up a handle bar, will look cleaner. I like putting heat shrink on my connectors once together and tested.
