  11. Yamaha used to make it but I haven't seen it in a while. The 10w-30 or 20w-50 pretty much cover the operating temperature you will be in.

  13. I just added a longer tail to it, I added mine to the inside facing me, loosen the windshield and slide it in. You will need to cut slots in for the screws and the center where the bar is. No drill or frills

  16. Ok boys, and gals, pull up your rockin chairs. I use the yamalube ( mostly because i'm still under warranty ) manual suggests 10w30 for cold weather, 20w50 for hot weather. Most dino is ok as long as no friction modifiers No matter what oil you choose replace the crush washer (214-11198-01-00) and torque to 31 ft lbs
  17. If you do your PM's you will find it is very reliable. Learning to do the pm's is not difficult and you will have the satisfaction that it is done correctly. If you are not sure about something, someone with experience is just a meet away.

  21. Ethanol does not burn efficiently, the more the lower the fuel economy. It depends on what blends your politicians want them to run
  22. on kickstand is ok, if you check your manual the schedule is in it. Probably every other oil change
  23. OK, I talked to the Motorola tech at work and he suggested I put some FERRITE SNAP SLEEVES over the power supply wires. I bought a pack of 5 of these, they were cheap, and put them on the supply power and ground by the ballast and on the supply line yo headlights. I also relocated my ground to the wire feeding the HID's to battery. Now we tested these on a long group ride and all I can say is they completely stopped my CB from breaking squelch.
  24. Jeff, we run marine battery isolators on all of our boats, charges both but won't allow one to discharge the other. So one starts and the others run accessories . . . A small set of cables or a battery switch will allow you to start from either. http://bluewatermarinesvc.com/html/bat_isolator.html
  25. You can get a kit to replace them http://www.newrivercyclesalvage.com/sight-glass.html
