Replaced my J&M's and to be honest I have moved them several times at least 20 years old. The mic is not as clear and the audio from the old J&M was the difference between listening to am vs fm. I needed new lower cords and it was time.
The edsets you select what mic you want, wife wanted new ones before the International and could kick me for not replacing them sooner.
I got two bricks of .22 at Dicks and they charged $30.00 for them. I got a call from a friend and Farm & Fleet had some in the back room, same stuff $20.00.
So what are the prices?
If it was the price of gas the attorney general would go crazy about price gouging
I replace it every time and I torque it to spec's. The crush washer protects the threads and is cheap insurance. If it's under warranty you want to follow the manufacturers directions.
Just got new edsets 3G, they sound awesome , with the edsets they are modular so parts are easier, sound great and you're back seat passenger can plug their ipod directly in them. They come with everything you need to go, no extra cords to buy.
If i remember correctly there is a valve in there I had issues with once that makes bleeding a pita.
Maybe it had some air in there that finally found its way out. I know if it felt soft and u pumped it and then jammed on it and it locked it was likely air.
Or maybe your gremlins are looking for a new home
You know, the media ALWAYS checks their facts before they run a story, right??
