I would split the fairing, put a Ferrite bead over the power supply as close to the lighter plug as possible, you can slip one over ground also and try that first. cheap If that doesn't work what is happening is that it the phone or device is getting it's ground from a different location than the radio, but the radio is pulling the ground from the device instead of the intended ground or the grounds are out of phase. If you make the grounding point the same and have the same length wire that is one fix. Ferrite bead may help but I suspect it is the power supply from your lighter to your phone. You could also try a new power wire from the lighter.

  17. My brother in law had one on his van, it had the run for autism logo on it, he just removed it to change the graphic after 5 years and it looked good, parked outside all day every day. The guy who puts it on makes the graphics and does lots of work vehicles, buses... It's crazy they can cover windows and from inside you can see out but from outside you see the graphic. I will say there is an art to putting it on, no clue as to what the learning curve is. I have no idea as to the price vs paint but worth investigating.
  18. This is a goood route for adding aftermarket accessories, if one becomes an issue you can simply disconnect and plug back to stock and ride on, oops too late . . .

  20. Not sure they wanna ride their imitation 2nd gen's next to the real thing and you put on top of that , well, several of us have added diamond cuts and safety chrome. Never wanna ride a dog to a pony show, all I'm sayin:whistling:
