Worked, you look smarter already

Every state has a department that is charged with an insurance oversight. Pull some sold's from ebay and ask some local dealers what they sold a like one for. They will be happy to share some paperwork, minus the owners info if you ask them right. You are lookin for kbb retail in fair condition, not wholesale or or trade in. It's worth more in scrap than what they are offering. Don't sign a thing and ask to speak to a supervisor. They only have to speak with the insured.

Thoughts and prayers for you and your friend. It reminds us that spending time with family and friends is more important to do today, we don't know what we get tomorrow.

If you are worried about junk in your tank, unhook the petcock and drain it into a gas can and add fresh. I like the idea of having enough to get me to a gas station.

I saw a go pro knock off at Menards for $50.00, peaked my curiosity but I was in a hurry.

My question also -
We have a port a pottie rental company that sometimes sells used potties cheap. They will pump them out for a reasonable rate and they are durable. I do know people who have put RV valves on the tanks and run hose to or put them over a pit.

It's not about radials and bios ply, and I know that manufacturers are putting both on bikes. It's about the compound of the rubber and the style of the tire. (design and function) and those recommendations are current. Even within manufacturers it's not advisable to run with a Dunlop 404 on the front and E3 on the rear and visa versa. Bias vs. Radial "Not all tires are created equally. Or rather, not all tires are created in the same way. Bias and radial tires are both very different in the ways they are made and, unless approved by either the motorcycle or tire manufacturer, they should not be mixed on the same bike. Because of the differences in the way they are constructed, the two types of tires both have different advantages and disadvantages and most motorcycles are designed to work with one or the other. Trying to switch up the tires will most likely lead to more disadvantages than improvement in ride quality." 2 - Front and Rear Tire Matching http://www.dunlopmotorcycle.com/info-center/care-and-maintenance/ Remember, the correct matching of front and rear tires is important to obtain optimum performance and handling. Follow the Tire Selection guidelines. Mount only tires marked “front wheel” on the front position and only tires marked “rear wheel” on the rear position. A new front tire with a worn rear tire can cause instability. Mixing radials, or mixing radials with bias or belted-bias tires, may adversely affect handling and stability, and should only be done when specifically fitted and/or recommended by an OE vehicle manufacturer. It should be noted that many factors other than tire incompatibility can affect the handling of a motorcycle, including the weight and height of the rider, mixing worn with unworn tires and the fitment of luggage or fairings. Consult the motorcycle manufacturer before making modifications from stock. Can I mix tyre construction front to rear? http://www.avonmotorcycle.com/ Yes, but only to the combinations below:- Front Rear Radial Radial Bias Radial X-ply Radial Bias Bias X-ply Bias X-ply X-ply

I know the manufacturers sites advise not to mix, only run a matched set. Back will usually go first right down the middle.

also is your antenna good, unplug and check across the ground and center pin, should not have continuity. I take it you have an awesome cassette player. Put in a tape and see if it plays.

reminder when reassembling, you torque the 5mm screws to 35 inch pounds or 2.9 foot pounds the 6mm screw is 80 inch pounds or about 6.5 ft lbs over tightening is as bad or worse than under tightening. -
My address is 1504 Cobb Blvd, Kankakee, Il 60901 When you come, if you use GPS, you will find that some streets are made one way ( just for the races). There should be signs on the north side and south side of the river, you are looking to be on the north side. They set up a barricade at Osborne St ( we are two houses inside the barricade and it will be the first driveway on your right past the barricade. If someone is manning them , they are boat club volunteers, just tell them you are going to the McGovern's house. We have plenty of parking so ride back, their may be four wheelers parked in the grass in front of the garage but ride back by the house. Ride safely Kevhead

third that! I will stop for a lone biker or a car in distress , my exception is a 1% either solo or in a group. Usually carry a tire plug and a pump. I know what lonely feels like on the shoulder.
