if you havent refreshed your fluid I would start there, new fluid and a good bleed down may provide a lot of improvement. -
I know the friction zone thing works, don't know why ultimately in terms of driving you can only control two things; direction and speed. I know the energy applied to the drive train and an amount of friction applied at the same time has a positive effect on keeping the bike upright.

If it's overflowing you have a stuck float, try tapping the bowl with the handle of a screwdriver or seafoam soak -
its the one with the tuning coil on it. connection under trunk in black box, takes motorola adapter to do the swr

seafoam can cause issues with the plugs, after a dose or 2 I usually refresh the plugs. At least pulling them out to read them. Techtron is also very good for a carb soak. are the exhaust pipes the same temperature of do you have a cool one? fuel filter change is always good carb sync may help, inspect slides and diaphragms

I have seen them made with gaming headsets and I have seen people make a set for their phone, not connected to bike audio but from a cell phone to a headset. I always wanted to try a throat mic but the good ones were very expensive, now I wonder if that has changed?

I have had a good lean into a side wind, how the bike is loaded, tire inflation and good rubber are critical and if you are on 404's I suggest you try some other shoes.
