  2. we made abs cement with acetone and shavings of abs, we make the shavings by drilling into abs pipe repeatedly. put equal parts in a sealed jar for 24 hours, shake the jar occasionally. It will dry very strong.
  3. You could burn it in moderation, do yourself a huge favor and get a chimney brush and sticks and run the brush through your chimney real good while its very warm, short strokes and lower a but more short overlapping strokes, clean out the fire box, if it's cold you can get a long hose on the shop vac and remove loose particles do this every few weeks. Check the pipe with a mirror using the sun for a light
  4. Or you could just check the coolent plugs behind the cylinder fins.

  10. Chi town traffic is not as bad as everyone lets on, just gotta flow with traffic but timing is everything. I use the gps on my phone and listen to it when it tells me to get off or take an alternate route. I do avoid rush hour if possible and the worst thing ever is to drive the speed limit ie 55=70. I'm not saying is's a nice peaceful ride through the countryside but I have been in far worse traffic.

  12. Stuck in a slug state and I downsized from a 12ga to a 20ga handififle. I gun hunt like I bow hunt and the thing is a solid tack driver and I shoot Hornady sst's and I have yet to have a deer go very far after the shot. Ok back on track, I found that when I shot the 12 I was in the habit of re-sighting in every year just before we went off to deer camp and it left me with a shooters shoulder. That seemed to effect my shot anticipating the recoil on an already bruised shoulder, I did get a sled to sight in on and practiced my shot and all I can say is night and day. I also shot with a .22 or .243 freehand and found that I did not carry any bad habits into the stand with me. I finally passed my 30-06 off to my son in Colorado because the only thing I could do with it here was punch targets or coyote and he was lookin for an elk gun. I will also say that a semi auto will reduce some, changing loads can make a big difference but that will also change your range card, adding a muzzle brake is expensive but can cut about 1/2 the recoil out, a limbsaver recoil pad, and believe it or not the stock length and design can have a huge effect. I had a friend that changed stocks on his 700 and if you shot the same gun with the original setup and new setup it was night and day. Good luck and happy hunting.

  25. before compressing them you want to make sure to spray cleaner on the exposed portions so as not to push the dirt inside, I saw that you have them back in and it wouldn't hurt to bleed them out so as to replace any old fluid here, watch the color and debris. If you have any refill and replace all the brake fluid.
