  5. You would think people would catch on to the winter driving thing. Been legally driving for 40 years and the first thing my dad did was when it snowed. Take us to a parking lot and teach us how to drive in the stuff. It was fun but lessons learned. Everyone used to chain up or use studded tires in winter and now no one does. Illinois outlawed studded tires but permits chains, thanks Chicago. And now people can't figure out you can't drive 70 in snow packed roads. We are experiencing flooding with ice jams that actually lifted a bridge off the piers so the bridge was closed to all traffic. First people moved barricades so they had to put concrete ones up. Now they walk around those to take pictures. B safe
  6. Great place and case for a long gun Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I would think you could make a bracket off the rear of the trunk to hold it neck down and strap it with a bungie. Simplest would be to get a hitch and a cooler carrier, strap it at saddle bag guards, under trunk.

  21. Can't have too many, I have a set of led light under trunk, if you measure you can find these in a Farm & Fleet. . ., a set of Harley lights added to license plate frame, I have also seen LED's run down on the chrome on either side of the fender.
  22. Just a safety reminder, I know it's warming up, river is beginning to flood. That is a good and bad thing, since I live on the river. The good thing is that floods to me signal the new riding season. This year we had more freeze than in the last ten or so years, we have a 3 mile section of four lane highway closed because of huge potholes, takin car tires out and even some semi's. This is just a safety reminder to pay attention to road condition in addition to weather. We don't want spring excitement to compromise anyone's safety. Ride safe
  23. Worst thing that ever happened were shows like Yogie Bear, giving human like charistics to an animal. We have a couple generations that still do not understand that wild animals are just that wild. We are near the top of the food chain but not at the top. A cougar, a wolf . . . see a human as a meal, while a bunch of people see them as cute pets. I have been a diver since the 1970's and I hear people talk about shark attacks like the shark mistook the human for a seal. No the shark saw the human as a meal. Animals are about living smarter, if they find easy meals they will come back for more, we are part of the food chain no matter how we rationalize it, that is the circle of life. I don't think we should eradicate any animal because of inconvenience because nature fills voids. In this case though the human competes for the same food the wolf does and in those areas there can only be one winner. A huge area of the US is uninhabited (94.6%) and yet some genius want's to put the competition next to a competitor. I do believe this is being done as a end run to try to stop or put an end to hunting. The same people who want to shove evolution down our throats ignore their teachings. We should treat our fellow animals with respect within reason and sometimes that means not putting them in harms way.
