Jeff, that has been proven false, I live on the river and we have had tornado's touch down , yank tons of water from the river and continue the carnage on the other side. As a boater I thought the way you did until I went to a boating accident investigations course, alot of people in boats have died believing just that. They call it a waterspout over water but it's a tornado on land.

Third the pressure up, friction zone helps, E3's help ( or anything but 404"s) raising the rear an inch helps a ton, rstd or flanders bars are an improvement also.

Ontop of basic human error we have many distracted drivers. Illinois passed a no talking and driving, the real issue is texting and driving and it's tough to enforce. We have seen most of our fatal accidents involve someone texting while driving, from 20 texts a minute sent 40-50 total in a minute. I have been trying to use mirrors and am in the habit of . . . trying to see drivers eyes as I drive. Remember the most dangerous time for motorcycles to drive is 4-6PM but anytime someone is distracted it's dangerous.
