  3. Or it could just be that piece you slide in the battery post and screw the bolt into
  4. In Canada they would be red canecks. . . oops they slid the folks who talk normal about 300 miles south ( or I'm fix'n to say souff)
  5. I'll go with battery nut for 200
  6. drkngas dats old grass, it turns grey or goes bald just like hair up here
  7. I know on our radar trailer we had a steel pipe that had a lock through it, we slid it in the wheel mag hole and across the other side through a mag hole and locked it. Problem here is they are made lite so two clowns could pick it up.
  8. somebody painted the silver wing red . . . dats like false advertising. Like a blue gold wing, at least our venture is an honest bike. . .
  9. lmc truck has body panel parts to do it correctly, not that bad in price lmctruck.com jcwhitney.com also has some panels. Cut the bad out and put in new then protect if and you will be happier and in the end you will spend much less time and money that revisiting the same issue. . .
  10. Not sure what manifold sits under the 4.7, but I can tell you that Dodge basically feeds the throddle body into a chamber followed by rectangular tubes and whatever vortex action you can create in a 1/2 or 3/4 inch is gone faster than your cash at a casino. I do know they dyno tested the truck before and after ib a controlled environment and nothin.
  11. I am on the dodge forum also, their has been extensive study on this and the end result was it has no measurable effect on mileage or hp on a dyno. I bought a spacer for my throttle body and I was keeping track before and after and nothin, same mileage. Keep your cash in your wallet or buy a trailer raffle ticket. . .
  12. I use my garage roof as a guide because its partially shaded, if I see frost its a no go no matter how nice out. I also expect the worst.
  13. If it's still being built do yourself a favor and do structured wiring run in electrical pvc.
  14. I do like the e-tec over a four stroke. 1 weight is everything on a boat, 2 the two stroke has better hole shot, the two stroke is less maintenance and I have found to be more reliable. etec injects the oil directly onto bearing surfaces and it is not a gas mix, you use little oil and it burns clean. The etec is direct injected , so when replacing plugs you need to index them. I live on a river and use my jon boat year round, I hunt and fish off of it. When it is dead cold out it starts easy and runs reliably and in the cold water that is a must.
  15. Get a bunch of people to post pictures of it on Face Book, good place to get the word out. Someone has seen it and doesn't know its stolen.
  16. Ok, I was watching Brain Games on nat geo. They were explaining how the mind can only focus on one thing well and multi tasking. They did some tests and at some point explained that most accidents with motorcycles are cagers who turn left in front of bikes. The cagers are looking for cars and since they do not have motorcycles in their minds they actually dont see the motorcycles since they aren't looking for them, they are looking for cars and trucks. It seems to me if this were true the government would do a better job to educate drivers to look for bikes or place reminders at key intersections to get drivers into the habit.
  17. In 1974 I got my license and bought a 1969 Honda CB250, I drive it everywhere until my brother crashed in the fall of 1976.
  18. All I can say is get an E-TEC on that bad boy. Direct injected 2 stroke, uses low oil and awesome on gas. I have two. . .
  19. Don't wanna hijack this but we r headed to oahu in mid March, lookin for same info. Thanx
  20. If you are supplying the materials 4 x 12' sheet hung and taped between 5.90 per sheet and 10.00 per sheet. The 10.00 is for high work ( over 9') boxed ceilings, scissor trusses, knock down add about 2.00 more for those prices. Everything should be glued and screwed

  22. I took the wife on a test ride before I bought my 11 RSV. I have a friend that has one and loves it and I told myself I wanted one. On the test ride I just did not like the way I sat on it and was uncomfortable after an hour of riding. I also looked at an HD and the HD trike but once on the venture I knew I wanted another one and almost being a grown up it was time to go from the first gen to the much cooler and faster second gen.
