Using quality gas is far more important than the additives. Get a tester and get gas at various stations, check your results and buy based on results and watch your mpg go up. . .

You could mount a box on the back and fill it with names, then while driving you could hit the button and be a name dropper. . . -

Put an 8 track in that bad boy. I hear ya, I like the idea of the mp3 player that takes a memory stick. I have the ipod in the bag but only use it on trips. -

Crank Case Vent Upgrade!

I have a question, why not add a nipple to the filter and reconnect the vent? -
Glad you are ok, rode with my father in law to a birthday party yesterday and saw deer moving at 4:00pm on the edge of the highway , that seemed early to me. I pointed them out to him and he didn't see them. More up the road. He commented that deer only move at sunrise and sunset. I hunt and he doesn't and I told him that I have stuck more deer at noon or mid day than any other time of the day. Please remember the deer haven't read all those hunting books and I have seen exceptions to every rule I have read. Wildlife is predictably unpredictable. I wonder from those who have had the misfortune of hooking up with a deer while riding, did you learn anything that would help those who have not. I know that each accident has it's own virtues like twisting 2 lane vs 4 lane and did the deer hit you vs did you hit the deer, was it jumping..... looking back what did you do that served you well, what would you do differently ? ? ?

I was thinking like a power pole or an actuator on your center stand, just press a button and you are awesomely stable -

About 20 years ago I bought a yamaha 3 part kit,for a 750 yamaha I had then. removed the petcock and lines and sealed them off, poured part 1 in and about 24 hours later emptied it and rinsed with boiling water and then dried. The other two parts were some epoxy that you mixed and poured in the tank and rolled the tank back and forth coating the inside pouring out the excess and then letting it dry. I had that bike for about five more years with no problems and I am pretty sure it was a yamaha kit. Not sure if you had it off if CLR might work but you need to recoat the tank if it has rust / bare spot.
