Can't make friday, we talked about making saturday. I have a sister in law in highland and that would put us close for sat am. definate maybe 4 us

I agree and I think I would try to fab up a receiver under that

I run mine at recomended, I did add a longer tongue and cooler rack. Wagging is usually a sign that you are tail heavy, try readjusting the load forward. if you have a bathroom scale or fishing scale shoot for about 20# tongue weight.

The bike was pinstripped at MD, I asked about washing and here is what the paint MFG instructions were. Kevin, I tend to suggest waiting two or three days before washing, and 30 days before waxing. Hand glazes, such as 3M Imperial, can be employed after three to four days. Please let me know if I can be of additional assistance. Regards, "Louie" 1 Shot / Chromatic Technical Support

It was awesome, except a bit of bad weather, but if you ride that's riding. Wife wasn't as social as usually is but I will give her props as she is needing some medical attention and was in a wee bit o pain but was a trooper on the trip. I do appreciate you checking our carbs before we pulled out on Sunday. I was just fine putting faces to names. You and the wife are great hosts and hostess. For those first gener's I did have to hear the wife tell me how much she misses the adjustable backrest, the rear radio controls, the arm rests, the floorboard positions for the rear rider and the trunk and bag size. The wife does thank Dragonslayer 4 the pink bandana and if he sends me his address , every year for Fathers Day we have a fathers day http://www.runforautism.com , if you send us your size we will send you a run shirt.

Diaphragm Install Info
dacheedah replied to KIC's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
most can find a set of 4 for 80.00 i think. The spray might get you a year but then finding the diaphragm might b tougher, thickening up the walls on the diaphragms by adding material probably will change their response. -

Passenger foot pegs
dacheedah replied to farm1810's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
That is more of what I'm thinking. I need her to het on back and take some measurements. It would be nice if they were spread out a bit more to allow her to keep her feet up but allow me to get to the brake without movin hers, kind of more like the drivers pegs. -
That hurts just watching it, ouch

I know I saw him gently rubbing the back fender as he softly whispered to the motor

Passenger foot pegs

Ok do they let them stretch their foot out?? I have already set the trunk back an inch but she wants to stretch her feet out and would like to see pictures and mounting location on the bike please. -
How was the ride home?? We hit traffic coming into Chicago and I know how much you like Chi drivers, once we passed 94 it was open road.

Harbor Freight tag along trailer question
dacheedah replied to midnightrider1300's topic in Trailer Talk
I agree, I pulled it 80mph to and from maint day, bearings were repacked two trips ago with a quality marine bearing grease and they never get hot with it jam packed and a loaded cooler. I like the line on it with 8" wheels, when you put the 12's on you raise the cg and the angle to make it look like it's leaning down in front. I personally like it strait and level ( like it was made for the bike) and were really not into off roading with these things. from a lifetime of pulling trailers, I feel most failures are improper loading, improperly seated and over tightened or neglected bearings. I repack mine annually and load it where it has a slight hitch weight. If you use bearing buddies you still need to pull them off, inspect the bearings and surfaces, repack and refresh your grease annually. Checking the lugs is also on your ritual. On the side of the road is a very lonely and frustrating place to be. -
And to think, he denied it to me, even though I saw it, and explained it as being his evil twin. . .
