The very first thing I would do is to check that the antennas are on the correct side of the bike, your CB antenna has a tuning coil and the CB antenna should be on the left side of your bike ( if you are admiring it from the rear looking at the license plate , the cb antenna, with the coil, on the left, am fm radio , no coil, on the right. This is probably the number one setup issue stealers get wrong and simplest to fix. Youtube has several swr instructions and meters are cheap, as Gibvel said you want to tune for where you are in the band. If you jump all over you will set one, do another and compromise so it's reasonably good on most. If you are staying on 27 and riding in a group I would just tune 27 for best SWR, if you switch you will be fine.

Pulled off the gas tank and found my problem, mr zip tie had it pulled wrong. I don't know how it didn't cause problems before. I cut it free and she no longer sticks. It does occur to me that it was not fully pulling back before, end result is I will install the new cables and have them routed as designed... now I am saving my old zip ties so those second genners can fix their plastic...

I have tons of slack. rerouted behind right fork until I get new cables. I check it when not running and it returns, I check and it's all the way back. But running it sticks ( doesn't make sense to me) and I have to manually return them. I don't see anything catching the cables anywhere.

I added 1 1/2 risers and rerouted the cables because they would bind on a hard right turn. I have new cables coming that are +2. In the mean time my throttle is sticking with the bike running. I try it with the bike off and they return fine, with the bike running they are sticking. I did do the driving lights , relay, mod while I had the fairing split. I don't see anything in the way. Any ideas here??

favorite cold / rain suit is actually a boating 100mph suit, wrist and neck seal, legs have a strap that velcro's them to your boots, bibs for double coverge. Gortex is awesome stuff and I have been in some good rains in it, kept me dry.

relationship to an auto industry engineer. He said just going to all gas ( No e) would immediately increase gas mileage. He said they actually costed it out, if you go to E-85 , a loss of MPG at a lower cost fuel and the end result is , less cash in your pocket and worse for the environment, butt the government wants it.

Kudo's to the wife, you have to appreciate a good back seat passenger. It's the hardest thing is not having control and staying calm ,trusting your driver. Glad you worked it out, next the tire companies need to make a run flat tire for a bike. I have also seen a car tire that http://news.cnet.com/8301-13639_3-10098240-42.html has has a honeycomb pattern that is an airless tire, need to come up the sidewalls but this would be cool. . .

sweet trailer, we had a guy in the paper sell one that I almost bought, my wife asked why I needed another one, it was almost the same as mine so I passed.

Love that area, we used to rent a cabin near Murray and the whole fam damily would stay together. We had limited cell activity, like 3 fuzzy tv channels and it forced us to talk to each other, play cards, fish, boat and really enjoy each other.

My day, and my weekend, have been taken over. Our family started a little run as a fundraiser, http://www.runforautism.com now it is not so little and it takes a l o t of time. After the no sleep, invasion by the in-laws and run activities we clean up and everyone ( family and our run volunteers) heads to our house for a get together and breakfast. It's awesome seeing everyone and visiting. By the time they scoot it is afternoon and I end up hitting my wall and crashing. It's for a good cause but I don't get the me time to fish, boat, ride on the bike.

my throttle binds at the far right turn, loosened the plastic ties, still not happy with it binding. I tested it with the fairing open and it seemed fine. Altogether and I noticed it.
