    As always, we had a wonderful time at Vogel! http://venturerider.org/forum/images/smilies/happy65.gif It was great seeing everyone, our old friends and meeting new friends! Even our daughter Jacque and her friend Jimmy were able to come and they really enjoyed hanging out with us! It inspired Jimmy to get his bike out when they got back to Huntsville and they went on a 100 mile trip into Tennessee! http://venturerider.org/forum/images/smilies/whistling.gif We might even see them on two wheels in the future at one of our meet and eats!     As always, we had a wonderful time at Vogel! It was great seeing everyone, our old friends and meeting new friends!     Our prayers are continual for David's speedy recovery and for Kathy during this difficult time. Thank you Brad for keeping us updated and for all of you there at the hospital for our family member.

    Accept the fact that some days you're the pigeon, and some days you're the statue! Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them. Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it. Drive carefully... It's not only cars that can be recalled by their Maker.. If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.. It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others. Never buy a car you can't push. Never put both feet in your mouth at the same time, because then you won't have a leg to stand on. Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance. (well, I don’t know about this one!) Since it's the early worm that gets eaten by the bird, sleep late. The second mouse gets the cheese. When everything's coming your way, you're in the wrong lane. Birthdays are good for you. The more you have, the longer you live. You may be only one person in the world, but you may also be the world to one person. Some mistakes are too much fun to make only once. We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box. A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour. (I love our detours in the country!) Have an awesome day and know that someone thought about you today. It was me, your friend! Save the earth..... It's the only planet with chocolate! :cool10:

    Since it was too hot to ride the bike Sunday, we took the four wheels to see Eck and Konnie! We went to eat at Fleet Landing with a beautiful view. George and Eck spotted some dolphins but I could not get a picture of them! After lunch, we took a scenic route through Charleston. It always amazes me what a beautiful old historic city it is! After a long afternoon of playing pool, we had pizza at Dough Re Mi, a New York City style pizzeria! The pizza was delicious!! We highly recommend this place and look forward to returning! Just a few pictures of our wonderful day with Eck and Konnie! Thank you both for an absolutely beautiful day!

You never have to drive to another gas station restroom because this one is just too icky. You don't have to stop and think of which way to turn a nut on a bolt. Same work, more pay. Wrinkles add character. Wedding dress $5000. Tux rental-$100. People never stare at your chest when you're talking to them. New shoes don't cut, blister, or mangle your feet. One mood all the time. Phone conversations are over in 30 seconds flat. You know stuff about tanks. A five-day vacation requires only one suitcase. You can open all your own jars. You get extra credit for the slightest act of thoughtfulness. If someone forgets to invite you, He or she can still be your friend. Your underwear is $8.95 for a three-pack. Three pairs of shoes are more than enough.. You almost never have strap problems in public. You are unable to see wrinkles in your clothes.. Everything on your face stays its original color. The same hairstyle lasts for years, maybe decades. You only have to shave your face and neck. You can play with toys all your life. One wallet and one pair of shoes -- one color for all seasons. You can wear shorts no matter how your legs look. You can 'do' your nails with a pocket knife. You have freedom of choice concerning growing a mustache. You can do Christmas shopping for 25 relatives On December 24 in 25 minutes. No wonder men are happier. Men Are Just Happier People (Not a bad thing at all!!) :cool10:

    Skid, Leslie and family stopped in Columbia for the night on their way to Florida. What a nice visit we had! It was so good to see them again!

    It was great riding the bike today! It has been a while so the day was absolutely perfect! We got to meet Bumblebee this morning. Kevin had other commitments so could not ride up to Charlotte with us. Hopefully next time he can! I bet you can't guess what color his bike is! Keith, one of the guys who works with George, rode up with us and had a great time meeting the guys! Lunch was great at McCoy's, it is definitely a place to keep in mind to eat when we are in Charlotte! We stopped at McLeod Farms on the way home to get peaches and a peach enchilada but the line was so long I had to be satisfied with a picture to prove that we were there!     We just got back from Texas Roadhouse after having dinner with the Canadian VR Ambassador! It was a great visit with Paul, really enjoyed meeting him and hearing his adventures on this trip! Rocket and Rod are headed to Tennessee tomorrow! After dinner, Rocket called Wild Hair, our American VR Ambassador! I got to talk to Lowell and he sounds really good. He is ready to get out on the road again, in his sports car! Ride safe, Rocket and Rod!
