    Lewis enticed a Hooter's girl to assist in the auctioning off of the Baron Nasty Boy pipes donated by Sleeperhawk. Sleeperhawk rode out to pick her up. See the shocked look on Jamie's face. Thanks to her hard work, the pipes brought in $225.00 for St. Jude's!

    It clears, just have to be careful and not go crazy. (He he he, I'll be driving George crazy!) George says that you need to mount it with longer screws than what comes with it, that is, the one inch clamp size. One and a quarter is too big for the back rail.

    It is Barefoot Willies, http://barefootwillies.com/beverage.html He was not set up for internet or fax orders last Thursday, but you can order it by telephone. The cup holder at its upper most position lets the saddlebag clear (barely). I can't wait to use it this weekend! By the way, George wants to know what happened to the Bushtech trailer giveaway at International instead of the one on the website tonight!

    Well, I tried! Humm, it is in our garage with the key in it! A new Venture Rider member in Columbia came by for Sleeperhawk to check out his 2002 Venture with 22,000 miles! After a carb tune and Sleeperhawk taking it for a test ride, Wagmwake's bike is in great shape! Soooo, we have another riding buddy here! By the way, check out my new cup holder! Ordered it last Thursday and the guy shipped it out the same day. I got it today and Sleeperhawk put it for me! Thanks, Barefoot Willie's! Now I will stay cool on the way to Ashville this weekend!

    Thank you everyone for your concern and prayers. :bighug:We are so fortunate to have such a great family! After the tree service removed the tree and debris outside and Sleeperhawk and I cleaned up the inside, it looks a lot better. We both know that we were very, very fortunate as it could have been a lot worse. Two houses in Columbia were struck by lightning and burned down. So we can definitely handle this! I have posted a few pictures of the cleaned up area. Sleeperhawk's mini-maintenance day is well underway. We have a great crowd and will post pictures of that later. I just finished making two apple pies, two cherry pies, cinnamon sticks and monkey bread. Trying to keep cold water in the guys as it is hot out there, even in the garage. Once again, thank you everyone for being there for us in spirit!

    We really don't know nothing about nothing right now. A clean up crew for the removal of the tree (we hope) and tree debris are supposed to be here tomorrow morning. The adjuster may not be able to make to our house until about three days because of the intense storm damage experienced here in Columbia this afternoon. Found out from the neighbor that the storm hit after 5:15 and Sleeperhawk and I got home right at 6:00. There was a LOT of debris on the way home. Needless to say, the dining area is out of commission, that may be including the kitchen. As far as maintenance day on Saturday goes, it is still on! And that is maintenance on bikes, not the house! Just hope that the insurance company will do us right, at least somewhat!
