Ok, so at 450,000 so far I Win!!.

The Chevy is getting a bit of rust at the cab corners and tailgate which I replaced with an earlier model due to bending the original. Other than that the body still looks decent. The Jeep however had one surface spot about quarter size that was it. My brother bought it and loves it

I have a 99 Chevy K2500 I am about to turn 450,000 miles it has original engine and trans, it still doesn't use oil, the air conditioning and cruise work fine and the darn thing starts every morning. The day it quits I'll go buy another. My wife just got rid of a Jeep Cherokee Sport that had 300,000 mi and it still ran like a top. If you take care of them they will take care of you. Truth be told I have not had a car payment since '04 and I really don't miss it.

I think you are right, it sits lower in the frame. The downside is a TD has less stock padding. Have you tried a seat pad?? Maybe that would sit you high enough to scoot back on the seat.

Around here we call McyDs "Fast Food In Slow Motion" I can get fed at Bob Evans or Waffle House faster and it sure tastes better
