Just a word incase I might help, my bike was kicking out the cruise but found out last spring that it was that the clutch handle was worn and moving too much. It was a cheap and it made a huge difference, now I have a steady cruise if I want it. Hope it helps.

Is that even good on a Clearview Shield?

I had the backfiring and found out I had a coil going out. The case had a crack. I used to really notice the problem when I power washed her.

At Auto Zone you can get the paint to put on the inside of the lenses to make them alot darker. Other than replacing the cracked ones this will make them like new.

I know what it is like to be on the side of need. Im helping too.

Can you say how you got to the coils so easily? I have an extra set but need to start l:Avatars_Gee_George:ooking to remove them and don't know where to start the process.

I am looking for some help here. Is there a easy method to removing the coils off of my 86 ? Would be so nice to see what needs to come off first and what to look out for. Thanks everyone.

I have a 86 and am a smidgen over 6' legs are a 34or better inseam and my wife is 90% of the time with me. That bike is the most responsive and able to position of legs since two things ,I put a carbon seat on her and it sets me back afraction more and my long horn pegs from Kuryakin are a dream extension. This bike if it wasn't for the ABC plastic being older and I keep putting holes in her (everyone always forcing more bling on me) she has continued to make it impossible to think of another. Love her. mk
