Let's talk about a aircraft like that with the word 'Experimental' on the side of it. I thought they were pretty well finished by the time they looked like that.

Hippo Hands, warm chaps, snow plow for bike& snow tires.......
hillrider replied to a topic in Riding Gear
Hippo Hand are a GREAT invention altho it takes a little getting used to. GOT to know where the buttons are. I now wear summer gloves in the winter. Also install grip heaters. Now the Hippo Hands make little ovens. -

Had a great lunch at Applebee's today with a great group of guys. While none of them were operators, 3 of them went places and did things a long time ago that I would NOT have wanted to do. My hat is off to all of them.

Now that you've got the light bar off, there's someone, I wish I could remember who, either on this board or the other one that makes a drilled bar for dropping the lights about an inch. Makes removing the outer shell a snap. No need to remove the lights.

I can find GL-3-4-5. I can find GL-5 (with hypoid additive). Can't find GL-4 (which is spec'd). I can find more conflicting information than I really want to read. Anybody got a clue as to whether GL-5 is safe to use in our pumpkins???

Cletus is passing by Billy Bob's hay barn one day when through a gap in the door he sees Billy Bob doing a slow and sensual striptease in front of an old green John Deere. Buttocks clenched he performs a slow pirouette and gently slides off first the right strap of his overalls, followed by the left. He then hunches his shoulders forward and in a classic striptease move and lets his overalls fall down to his hips revealing a torn and frayed plaid shirt. Grabbing both sides of his shirt he rips it apart to reveal his stained tee shirt underneath. With a final flourish he tears the tee shirt from his body and hurls his baseball cap onto a pile of hay. Having seen enough Cletus rushes in and says "what the heck are you doing Billy Bob." "Jeez, Cletus, ya scared the bejeezers out of me," says an obviously embarrassed Billy Bob, "but me and the Ole lady been having trouble lately in the bedroom department, and the Therapist suggested I do something sexy to a tractor."

+1 for the apache (tuffy) tent. Easy set-up and take-down, good in a storm, but not cheap. I've got the five man which is good for the GF and my queen mattress and a chair inside (plus most of our clothes).

Looking for opinions of Consumer Cellular. I need to find a new plan for the mothers and on the surface this looks ok. They charge on incoming and outgoing, but the old women don't use cells much, so that's ok. Lots of complaints on the web, but you can find lots of comlaints about ice cream if you look close enough. Anybody actually using this company? Thoughts?

If you go in from the west (lower river park) you can take the hill up to canyon river road. You want good tires and a good sense of balance because it is STEEP with switchbacks, and get most of the way to Hwy35 before hitting a detour sign that eventually brings you out a the gas station at the top of the hill. Great ride tho.

To get rid of buffeting, I went from a cut down stock shield (4 inches shorter) to a XXL Clearview. Didn't realize I would loose 6 MPG. Went from 42 to 36. -
On both of mine, I pulled the hot lead all the way to the back of the bike and hooked to the running light. (Use the harness as a filter). Also it might help to keep all the JM wires 3" from the spark plug wires. My current issue with them is that one bike (don't know which yet) puts static on the CB side at 50MPH. It's not RPM related so I've got to have a loose wire at one of the antennas.

You'd think the dragon police would make that cover up as a safety hazard to people going the other way.

Two feeders 20 feet apart will attract 4 times a many birds as one. There's always a bully, but he can't guard two feeders at once.

Thanks all, he's recently went to the darkside and with those tires running not a full pressure, the sidewalls have to be a little squishy. Seems like its asking for trouble with 400lb trailer.

A friend of mine with a Stratoliner just went to the darkside. He intends at some point in the future to pull a camper behind it. The boys got more gonads than good sense, but hey, he's older and wiser that me. And I'm not young. But to the question. Whats the best way to get out of a wobble/tank slapper?? (other than tongue weight/elevation being right to start with).

Started to do a search this morning and couldn't tell it to search venturerider. There are (used to be) buttons at the bottom of the search box that would direct the search to the web or venturerider. Sometimes I see spots that aren't there, but never no spots that should be there. Any ideas on how to get them back??

I've found clearview and Cee Bailey, are there any other manufacturers out there. I cut mine down to where I could barely see through it and with the wind blockers on the lowers, it works fine. But it's summer now, the blockers have to come off. And with that the buffeting is terrible. Gonna have to get a taller windshield for summer, but I've only got a month to do it. (Vacation coming up)
