I live in the woods. A hickory tree filled woods. Due to a leak, I a had part of the roof replaced with metal. Sometimes I think it's opening day of hunting season. At midnight. How do these guys see at night.

For those that eat out on Monday anyway, and have a Chili's near by, they are donating all of today's profits to St Jude. Eat Hardy

I strap the handle bars to the side of the shop (eye bolts), to keep the bike from falling over. then put a rolling jack under the shock. Jack that puppy up high enough to get a semi under it.

Probably the cable. Tank and air plenum come off pretty easy for visual. Tank comes off after loosening the plastic. Plenum with lots of wires hoses and two clamps to the throttle bodies.

verify who the carrier is up there for the smart phones. down here (Atlanta) it isn't verizon or att, I forget who it is now, but their coverage was terrible.

Since you have the time, google Dave Berry+colonoscopy

If I'm not mistaken, you're not looking for the filters themselves. You should be looking for the air plenum, which is under the gas tank.

+1 for the RDL. I've not lived a LOT of years yet. But I lived several, and I've never seen a bad comment about Russell (except the cost). Owned Mustang, Corbin, and 2 others (can't remember the names) - RDL -
Mustang Seat for Venture
hillrider replied to JerryK's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
After reading some, I could no negative posts concerning Russell, other than shipping them your pan for the refit. So I did without the bike for two weeks. The Russell is a great seat. http://www.day-long.com/ -
The Vstar 1100 I had was a great bike. Felt light, much easier to handle in the mountains than the Venture, but, no tupperware and buzzy at 70.

I'm told, I looked at lot better in bell bottoms, and a white hat. I wish Hipshot could have understood the last line.

In my world the term "in stock" means I can walk to it under this roof. Not "I can order it".

It's 3 in the morning and there's still a dozen people on the board. Looks like I'm not the only one with strange sleep habits.

Most of the time I think rules are a good thing. This time, not so much. But the home has thought of possible help. I am tickled to see him still fighting, and hope that he makes it thru this. -
Well, I for one would donate one of my prized paper checks and a stamp for the site. Probably have to get the Post Offices reader to decipher the check though. Not saying my hand writing has degraded over the years, But keyboards provide more readable text.

And some days I accomplish absolutely nothing. And still sleep good at night.
