  2. Thank you so much for the link! I won the bid ($60 with tax) took a little ride and picked them up, put them on and I'm happy! Just need to make a few little adjustments, but they give me lots of options for riding. You guys are the best on this site!! Mary Jo

    My epic ride

Congratulations on getting an idea and just going for it! Great photos, too!
  4. So glad to hear you are okay!
  5. And you found them only 45 minutes from my house! Thanks so much!!!! MJ
  6. Thank you for the help!
  7. Quick question so I can order highway pegs for a 2004 Midnight Venture. I believe I read that it is a one (1) inch clamp size. Is this correct? Specifically, from reading another post, these..... https://www.kuryakyn.com/cart Thanks in advance Mary Jo
  8. Jay, so glad to hear she is not seriously injured! and ..............WOW! Go girl! Most impressive! But I'm really glad she is okay.
  9. Should these fit a 2004 RSV and where are they selling for $120? I found them for $136, but will look at a few other sites. Thanks!
  10. I wouldn't be disappointed in that!
  11. Had one flash his lights at me this weekend while the 2 wheelers he was with waved at me.
  12. I don't usually wave first - but return all with a wave or big smile. I haven't found any type of discrimination from any other types of bikes if I do wave first. They've all waved back. My pet peeve is that most threads at some point bash HD. What about it doesn't matter what you ride, but that you ride? (steps off soap box) Riding a hack, I've gotten quite a few thumbs up from other riders. When my teenage nieces ride with me, they give fist pumps to oncoming riders.

  16. With those ashes, I will be the best science teacher
  17. Almost makes it an International!
  18. http://www.sidecar.com - they have free manuals for download about setting up and driving a hack, also a wealth of information on everything sidecar related. Lots of parking lot practice helps. Sharp right turns and you'll be flying the chair. Ballast in the back helps. I use 75 pounds unless I have a passenger. What bike and sidecar do you have?
  19. Nice to meet you! Be safe!

    Tooch is OK

So glad you are feeling okay! Scary description and testament for wearing all the gear. Take care!
  21. Sidecar? No problem! Matt and I had a great time! Thanks to Don and Eileen for being such gracious hosts. Thanks to Brad and Don for syncing the carbs........and teaching along the way. So nice to see folks we've met before. Craig (our Wingman) and Kim....Thank goodness for you two and your patience! See you in New York in August. If you haven't been to this event or NY - GO! We felt like slackers for only driving 150 miles
  22. Shouldn't need to get it on the center stand as the bike sits upright. Just have to be a contortionist with a flashlight
  23. Looking forward to meeting you in New York!
  24. See you and Kim and the Country Inn! Looking forward to it!
  25. Definite top notch hosts and patrons, but I'm a hotel camper
