  1. Big shout out to Don and Eileen for hosting this wonderful event. I really appreciate the time and hard work that goes into planning MD. Had a great time catching up with old friends and meeting some new ones. :happy65:Thanks to TJ and Randy for letting me follow them so I didn't have to bother with directions. And a special thanks to Craig and Kim, who introduced themselves four years ago and always make me (and everyone) feel welcome!
  2. What a great bunch of folks
  3. So sorry for your loss.
  4. This is an old thread I stumbled on when looking at removing the eyebrows ..........and this is the guy I bought the bike from who started the thread because he added the eyebrows! He was given the eyebrows so I will give them to someone else. Taking them to MD at Freebird's tomorrow.
  5. Thanks Don! Sounds like a plan. See you on Friday for the ride to QSL. Really appreciate all you do to put this event together. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
  6. If you are leaving from the Red Roof for Quaker Steak on Friday, let me know if you would mind if we follow and what time you are leaving. Thanks! Mary Jo
  7. If anyone wants to try this at Maintenance Day, I will volunteer my ride for the experiment.
  8. Safe travels, my friend! Looking forward to hearing about the adventure!!!
  9. Will miss seeing you at MD and NY
  10. Good for you!!!!!!! Sounds like a great plan and I'm jealous. Looking forward to following your adventures on the blog.
  11. Thanks! I'll show this to my mechanic
  12. And I would gladly pay someone to upgrade my headlight! I keep reading every post, but it's beyond my capabilities. My friends all have LED on their bikes, but that's an easy switch on a HD. I'm the dull little light at the back of the pack..... Anyone in the Pittsburgh area that can help me out? Sounds too involved for Maintenance Day. Thanks to all for the information.
  13. Beautiful! Sharp color combination. Congratulations on the new ride!
  14. You've met me and you ask if I'm okay? That's funny! About 4 years ago. My First Broom. I thought it was pretty! Pinstriped at Maintenance Day and everything! Matt and I were out for a ride and I got mad because he wouldn't wait for me at stop signs and such. I took the lead, went too fast into a turn and pulled on the front brake. Rookie mistake. Hit the side of the road and the Broom flipped. The after-math was actually pretty funny. Black eyes, stitches in my lip and knee and a broken nose. Okay, that part wasn't funny, but it could have been worse! (I rarely ride with him) Here's my Witches Wall in the garage.
  15. both, get both
  16. Driving mad can have a similar consequence.........my first Broom. I was headed in the other direction. Live and learn
  17. Bring on the twisties!
  18. Is this going to be a jigsaw puzzle where you post a part a day?
  19. Ya big tease! Home from work to check for a picture and NOTHIN'! The Broom calls. I know you didn't get a sidecar ;-) I'm guessing you're a Wing Nut, I mean Wing Rider
  20. Met him at WNY rally - what a nice guy! Linda, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Sorry, I just now saw this post.
  21. So sorry for your loss, Don. Thoughts and prayers with you and your family.
  22. That's mine At last year's Maintenance Day, Squidley and Freebird synced the carbs...........all while you were telling tales in front of the cottage Happy to brag and show pictures, but I have a heck of a time downloading them here. And I'm not very patient. I have a few in the VR albums here under "Witches and Brooms" Thanks for your posts. I always enjoy reading them.
  23. Sign me up - and thanks for making all the calls and arranging this. I like to stay with the group. (that way I can just follow and not worry about directions ;-) )
