  1. If you need one, these guys are great. http://www.rmstator.com/ Thomas
  2. Really DO need pics to understand your problem. Thomas
  3. No one needs any ideas now. Cut that out! Thomas
  4. While I feel badly about this situation, I hope we can all learn a lesson from this. We aren't as young as we once were (although we may still FEEL indestructible), we can't be pushing ourselves like we used to. Take a moment to assess the situation and remember to consider that you aren't 18 anymore and you probably need help. Unless you heed Marcarl's advice and follow some very simple instructions on how to right your ride, solo. It's really not as strenuous or difficult as you might think. So simple, even a girl can do it. [ame=http://www.metacafe.com/watch/2328334/how_to_lift_a_dropped_motorcycle/]How to Lift a Dropped Motorcycle - Video[/ame] Thomas
  5. why not just take it to your friendly neighborhood bike shop and pay to have it stored indoors, and toasty warm? Thomas
  6. Oh Wayne, I was so saddened to hear this news. You and your loved ones are in our prayers. Peace be with you. Thomas
  7. Sleepy...are you just waking up? Yes. we're talkin' 2012. Thomas
  8. Ok. Let's start working on picking a date to ride up to the Nickel North. How does July 07-08 work for everyone interested in seeing Charlie on HIS turf? How is that for the fish fry, Charlie? The ride is 6 hrs from the Niagara Region so leaving at 7am gets me there by 1pm. If you're closer, it's less time. And if you're further....well you get the idea. There's lots of highway riding. Maybe a two night stay. Arrive Saturday afternoon and spend Sunday with our buddy and then leave on Monday morning. I don't know for sure. Let's work this out. Thomas
  9. I've seen you all say it but I am curious as to who's willing to do it! It's a ride to Sudbury to see our friend Charlie before it gets too late in the season. 5 hrs from Burlington, ON says...ride up, visit, stay the night, and ride back. Is anyone ready to do this for Charlie? Thomas
  10. ...would have to be Rib Eye steak...a couple of them, 3/4" - 1" thick, cooked medium over open flame. Must be consumed with red wine and a dose of Frank's Red Hot sauce. No potatoes, no broccoli, nothing else. Just MEAT! Thomas
  11. I'm gonna say "oh yeah!" to this ride because the company and food are sure to be memorable! This answer is hinged on two things. 1) I get the thumbs up from my better half, and 2) The weather cooperates. If these two moons line up just right then I'm in. Wayne, maybe we can meet at my place or Ft. Erie and head down together. Paysaw - are you in?
  12. I swear by Autosol and 00 Steel Wool. You will get the best results with this combo. No need to clearcoat. Just wash regularly. Thomas
  13. Yeah, kind of rough, dontcha' think? Calling us goofs is ok, but *******s? Where'd that come from? Thomas
  14. Yeah, you do. I'll take one. Can you make them for the inside of my rear window of the car? I'll take one of those too. Thomas
  15. Is there any issue with the boards "spinning" on the crash bar? I guess I need to know that they are "solid" and don't move around when you rest the full weight of your legs on them. Thomas
  16. It's THAT kindness that makes me shake my head and count my blessings for knowing this group. Because of people like you, it makes me want to "pay it forward". Proud To Be A VentureRider! Thomas
  17. I received my Pinwall Cycles amp today and after a couple of things off the "honey do" list I got the chance to install it. After checking and double checking the connections, ground, antenna, and such, I looked away as I turned the dial to "on". What happened was literally sweet music to my ears. Crystal clear music from both speakers! What a joy! So. I buttoned it all back up and polished until my wife got home and as soon as her car door opened...I was gone. 3 hours on the scoot and not a single blip in the sound. (knock wood) I can't wait for the spin to Pioneer weekend. I will be humming, singing out loud and bobbing my head all the way to NY state. Cheers! Thomas
  18. Ok, here ya go. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=62556 Thomas
  19. I'll be there for 9:00am coffee and won't leave until after the 1:30pm ride. That is, unless I'm asked to leave. Thomas p.s. Yeah. A poll is a great idea. All info in one space.
  20. So, the question needs to be asked of those who currently run this setup. Is it any brighter than say, what my 85 has as stock? I am considering this as an alternative. Thomas
  21. I see the original front clear plexi cover is removed. Is that due to heat issues with the new light config? Thomas
  22. I LOVE PHOTOS! They really add the "hot sauce" to the conversation! Thomas
  23. I'm sorry Bob. Please don't be offended. I've always had to pay my way through this life and I find it difficult to accept such generous offers. I promise I'll try to change my ways. Thomas
