    I agree. I have one very big beef about that thermostat housing. It is potentially exposed to road debris like, oh I don't know, rocks! And the friggin' thing is made of plastic! Again I ask, what were they thinking??!! Thomas

    I ride an '85 and I bought it from a dealer 6 or 7 years ago. I knew nothing about the bike, issues, or history. All I knew was I was comfortable on it during the test ride, and it had options I was looking for. Radio, fairing, trunk, side bags, air conditioning.... I have invested time and money into my Venture Royale and I have to say it's the best purchase I've ever made. Never a regret and it only gets better with every ride. Loving life on my Venture!     Ok, that's great news! I had images in my mind of you pumping the bellows to stoke the fire so you could melt the iron ore to hand forge these things. Thought maybe you could use more firewood.
