    Dave and Sue, You're very welcome, And we never see many Venture's in our little town just couldn't pass the opportunity to stop and chat, and meet you guy's. Thank's for not brushing off our advice about the shocks. Rode mine around about a week with no pressure, really make's it handle and perform so much better with some air. You are riding my dream to go all the way across our great country on such a wonderfull bike, gota love these VENTURE'S. Keep posting from time to time so we know you're safe. We are going to ride the Blue Ridge Parkway next weekend Thur, Fri, and Sat.

    Riding over to Roanoke on the 18th. Will spend the night in that area getting ready to ride south on the parkway. Hope to take in Mount Airy and ride the police car, stop by Boone Nc to visit our son, who is a Army Recruiter in Boone. Have been wanting to do this ride for a few years now.

    Thanks to all who showed up for this event, it was awsome. We left for Tupelo Mississippi after the tour of RMH. Then rode north on Natchez Parkway to Nashville, and back home to the bluegrass state.......KENTUCKY. Many firsts for us,,,1st VR event, 1st on Natchez, 1st on bike to Arkansas, Mississippi

    1Rooster, we may be over this saturday looking at campgrounds. Will be in the plastic car,,SATURN. Where is Roosterville any way? Deepcreek sounds cool could watch the tubes go by. Never have liked making reservations from the net, seems like the pictures are never of the place your checking on.

    Tied in with the power wire that goes to power port in the fairing when I hooked up my led lights that are inside clear lowers. The power port only works when the key is acc. or run.

    Kirk, The left mirror on my 06 Midnight was loose in the housing. It was like it had only one spot of glue in it, the one on the right was fine and didn't move. You could take your thumb and move the left mirror around in the frame, and at highway speed a car, in your rearview would appear 3 or 4 images all moving together and cloudy. Took it by the dealer and tech saw how it was loose with finger pressure and able to move around in frame, he called Yamaha rep and got me a mirror from bike on showroom floor problem solved.....gently push on your mirror glass if it moves alot take it back to your dealer. Good luck ride safe..
