    Mine had the same problem when 1 year old. Split the front fairing and find the cable with blue tape markings, clean with contact cleaner and put dieltric grease in connector and then put some tie straps to help secure the ends. Problem solved.

    Wayne O and Jackie are coming down and plan on meeting up with b2dad and b2mom at rest area on I40, may even be able to get my son to ride down with us he is 16 and hasn't got to go to St Jude with me before.

    Parkland Motel is a few miles north of here on 27. Then there is the Big South Fork Motor Lodge, it's a small strip type building but it's nice.

    Larry, the ride will be the 14th not this weekend but the next. We are meeting in Pine Knot at the Shell station at the hwy 27 and hwy 92 intersection. We are meeting at 10 am and pulling out at 11 eastern time. The helmet deal is it's Ky and the law doesn't require you to wear one. Thanks for showing interest in this event. Would be great to see you all up here.

    The ferry boat ride is free. The ride out of Pine Knot that morning for the church is $10 per person. But if you're wanting to meet up in Thompkinsville for lunch, you wouldn't have to pay, only have to buy your lunch. Does your friend still have the Gold Wing?

    Larry, have you ever rode to Thompkinsville Ky? You go up 100 to hwy 214 and you cross the Cumberland River on a ferry boat, then go back to Celina. We do the ferry boat ride a lot. We are doing a benefit ride over there Saturday the 14th for a little church up here. We will be eating lunch at Frances BBQ in Thompkinsville.

    Larry, definitely have to get up with you guys for a ride this year. Thought the place in Johnson City would be cool since I am with The Fire Department at home. The place your talking about on The lake sounds like fun, prolly not that far for me ride to some Saturday.

    Just wondering about a BBQ place in Johnson City Tn. It's called Firehouse Restaurant. Anyone have any input about this place, thinking about Riding over some weekend to check it out. We live about 3 Hours away.

    Walter, that is a 1.9 SOHC engine. They are tough to build, heads usually don't eat guides. There is a guy up here that has some Saturn car parts left over from years of rebuilding wrecks and reselling them. If you want a contact number just let me know.

    Well after several sites in Memphis and touring historical places, I am at a mid-way point on the trip back home. Will post again when we get back sometime tommorrow evening. But any way the night manager at the motel we stopped at tonight was intriuged with me being out on a cool night this far from home, so when I told him te reason for the trip out, he began to tear up....said that they moved out here from Pa a couple years ago, when his 2 year old son was diagnosed with cancer. And also that St judes has his son on a 4 year treatment plan and has 2 years to go,,,,,and is doing really good with treatment and is expected a full recovery. Was so thankful for all the group has done for the cause,,,,and that his family has had to pay nothing for care from St Judes. In appreciation for the cause he book me in an 80.00 room for only 44.00,,,and countinued to thank us as we went upstairs,,,,now thats the COOLEST THING other than getting to see everyone from the group.
