  1. that's kinda like one of those "air spacers". not sure if they really work, but, I would go exhaust, ignition, then a professional tune ( power commander), dyno before and after.
  2. be there on the 11th!
  3. Just pulled the trigger on a Scala Q2 Pro single...need to hear GPS thru fullfaced helmet. I also like I can plug in my mp3 thru it, and the music will shut off for directions. its on a ups truck right now...
  4. just paid the stealer 170 to mount and balance both tires on my Vic...which tire changer/balancer should I be considering?
  5. Mountain House is pretty good also, used it hiking and camping a lot. also for you carnivores, Yoders canned meats have a 7 year shelf life and come in large, family sized, cans. I also have 2 wells, one with a hand pump, as well as, another piece of property accessible by atv with a well.
  6. I use WISE foods. they taste excellent, have a good calorie count, and excellent shelf life. they require only boiling water to prepare. that being said, I also have 25lb , sealed, containers of rolled oats, long grain rice, and variety bean mix. as far as canned goods go, most have a shelf life of 3 years or less, except SPAM, which has an indefinite life if stored properly. im single, but have a 2 year food and water supply. any questions PM me.
  7. I use a garmin car charger on the bike, works fine. it is "stepped down" to around 5 volts with a built in doohicky thingy...obviously not an electrical genius!
  8. one of my closest friends has a 09 SC road King..110 cu in. nice bike, but..one a trip to key west started hearing a rattling thru the exhaust...yep! cams!!!!! 4K repair!!!!! bike had 20,000 on it. he vowed to go with a S&S after the warranty expires. I also SMOKED him on my 83 Venture.....he was pretty surprised. I like all bikes, but I would be cautious with cam issues on a used bike. my 2 cents...im also a taller rider, that's why I went with Victory. the whhelbase on Harley was just too short between seat and tank. I would have had to spent the big bucks on forward controls.
  9. not a 6.0? what is it? whats the towing capacity? inquiring minds wanna know! how bout some pics of the cab? please.....
  10. I was running amsoil, but switched to a sportbike oil for the Yammy crotches. thinner, I figured it would help with the oil-cooled stator issue. so far, so good.
  11. that's what I was thinking...couldn't you just get some mx boots that fit our fork size? most of them fit the 40-45 range...I got some for 10 bucks off ebay for my CR500
  12. I had the same trouble on my Vic, but companies like Corbin, make fairings for just about anything. or Memphis shades. I put a small windshield on the Vic and it made a huge difference, pushed the air over my helmet, not sure I want a batwing yet...im likin the breeze!
