  2. well, it gets the same gas mileage, sitting in the garage, with the old ones and new ones!! i thought us medics were supposed to stick together....
  3. i dont have an Ignitech, but you have certainly sparked my interest. i WAS considering one. have you tried to put stock TCI back in? or did you have to modify the harness for Ignitech?
  4. Dennis Kirk has DOZENS of mirrors with a 10mm post like this one. flamed, chromed, carbon fiber, etc....you could customize your ride anyway you like! this particular mirror had a couple good reviews...one of the reasons i went with it. it also has a slightly magnified field of vision.
  5. im not sure....i wanted to keep stock location, and fixed.
  6. the mirrors are exceptionally clear! not sure about vibration yet, have brake system apart for de-link. however, they sure are on there good! dont budge at all!
  7. got mine from Harbor Freight. under 30.00.
  8. i will have a couple late next week, after i do Progressive and Stainless lines. it eliminates both of those lines and anti-dive valves.
  9. thanks! its also around the gauge bezel and on lower part of side panels. cleans up real nice! looks sweet with white gauges.
  10. heres pics with both installed...notice clearance now for gps...
  11. its that thing that slides into the bottom of a "concealed carry"....whatever that is...
  12. ok, so if your tall like me (6'3), you might have some problems with 1st gen mirrors. i do. i see mostly shoulder, and that wasnt cutting it any longer. i had a difficult time finding mirrors for our ride that have a 1" center-to-center mounting. in fact, i couldnt find any at all. several hours worth of research later, and i decided to do this: i used the old mounts, bought some mirrors from Dennis Kirk (after looking through dozens of them!), and hooked em up!. the mirrors came in a pair for 16.00 plus shipping. i like the price as well as, the cool 80's look they have. they are EMGO ROADHAWKS. first, i removed the old mirror from the mount. then, i drilled out the hole to hold the new mirror. fit perfectly, except....you cant fit a 10mm nut in there. so...i drilled out a space for the nut to fit in, being careful to not drill it out fully. i didnt want the nut to spin around. problem solved! a little finessing, some locktite and final adjustments....VOILA! custom mirrors. enjoy!
  13. there was a show a couple years back about the drinking water containing small amount of drugs people flush...i think it had someting to do with the great lakes...not sure tho.
  14. ok...thats it! changing out bags...i want to carry more crap! look for future posts!

  20. from what i understand, air gets trapped in that valve. i couldnt get my pedal to fully disengage. after a dozen times bleeding it, with speedbleeders, still the problem. i decided to go delink and stainless. just waiting on parts...
