probably want to go with a Ricks Electric Hot Shot. I would also recommend replacing the regulator/rectifier at the same time. my choice is a Shindigen, 3 phase.
heres a vid of the one I got.

I found a really cool tool to remove old pinstripes. Its a pinstripe eraser from Astro Tool. A friend of mine that owns a glass company recommended it. It took all of 5 minutes to remove the pinstripe off the front fender. I used the pneumatic tool, max 4000 rpm. It left eraser dust behind, just like a regular pencil eraser. Very cool indeed!!
X = what your wife becomes, when you have to many of these as projects.
V = valium. make sure plenty are on hand when bleeding brakes.
Z = by the time the brakes are bled, youre ready for a nap.
I posted the ad, but its about 450 miles from me, and these next 2 weekends are tied up, or I would ride out. sorry, but good luck, she looks like a nice one...and no second gear issues! that's worth 40 hours of work....
mine sat in a barn in Iowa for nine years before I got it. was running on 3 cylinders. the electrical gremins are a harrowing experience. def. do a fuse block upgrade asap, agm batt, clean carbs and inspect diaphrams for damage from heat. the cmu, in the dash, is also super sensitive. check for breaks in solder joints. pm me if you need anything. is it a "blonde"?
great riding! just came back from a trip to florida. went through indy, 64 east, to blue ridge, then south. a little different on the way back. im near st.helen in Roscommon. Saturday is a charity ride..."ashleys ride" in Mancelona. google it.
youre welcome. and yes, you can lift the front up..i have some broken plastic to prove it. caught me by surprise, doesn't come back down as easy as the CR500!
everything is getting out of control there. I lived in CLWR for 14 years and just moved back up north where I can afford to live. I read in TBT that a foreign investment company is buying up all the 3 bdm homes, and turning them into rentals. jacking the costs way up. now everyone thinks they can get that kind of money. traffic is insane, cant fix a road, population keeps growing. moved out to the country, best bang for my retired buck!
heres the story. http://www.victorymotorcycles.com/en-us/2012/experience/pages/vision-rider-steve-rolland-iron-butt.aspx?wt.mc_id=43D771AF-11E8-E211-B3CE-0050569A00BB&wt.mc_ev=email&WT.mc_id=.
I chase running and brake light issues all the time. I have skydocs fuse kit. normally, it comes down to the cmu being resoldered...for me. also, check the ground at the taillight.
check this out! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zD8e4Mg3NFU]Fat Sick & Nearly Dead - YouTube[/ame]. I started juicing after new years, now I juice 3 days a week. cholesterol is under 200, and all bloodwork is good. it will help you lose the weight and get the body stronger.
Tricia, sorry to hear. Of of my closest friends received the same diagnosis a few months ago. it was the second time in 13 years. He underwent valve replacement surgery, again, at University of Michigan Hospital. He is 40 years old. They completed the surgery with no implications, and he is excelling is all areas. He just completed a 5K run!! Keep the chin up!
I found this trolling another site. hope it helps. if anyone (like me) tries this, please let us know the results.
