    a simple and inexpensive fuel pump replacement is the Mr Gasket 42S. ive had mine for over a year with no issues.

    ive been watching some bmw k1300gt's online. similar to my first gen i size and seat height, cept it has every farkle...standard. heated grips,big luggage, heated seat, adjustable windscreen, and a huge dose of power with excellent braking. late model gt are running under 20k...yep...thats what its gonna be....

    thats not what mine looks like. in fact, that one is in a different position. mine is on the bottom of that cover. i dont have my camera here, i left it at my parents cabin but im going there today. i will post a pic tonight of it. here is the best pic i can find for now....

    mine smoke a lot, but i live in the woods so it didnt really matter much. it will run much better with the airbox lid on.

    i had a couple of the slide bodies separate before. you might want to pull all of them out and check. i also use the spray sea foam to clean carbs, watch out though, smokes for awhile.

    i put in a Ricks hot shot after going thru a handful of others in 6 months...$$$$$$$$...so far no issues with Ricks, i also put in a Shindigen R/R at the same time and mounted it to the front of the bike.

    stator. i could jump start my bike all the time, wouldnt hold a start but for one start. then dead. replace the stator and r/r together. hopefully, its just the battery.

    i swear i dont work for Rigid Industries, but, if you need serious lighting like me (deer country, dark roads) then look into them. i did a write-up on them, i believe a couple other members are also now using them. these work so well, i intend on purchasing another set for my truck and replace the stock fog lamps. they are available in amber, flood or spot patterns too.

    im not sure if anyone still makes that type battery. most of us have replaced it with a DEKA or AGM battery with a special resistor lead to turn off the dash indicator.

    its the ballast. i havnt seen a yamaha kit, but i have seen hids on a harley rk. and by bar lights, im not sure what you mean...on an 86? i do have hipower led's for driving lights.
