    put a fresh set of plugs, make sure its not too lean. white plugs, otherwise you may have to shim the needles...i'm using k&n and have to screw it down tight

    get a Shindigen, 3 phase r/r, wire it direct. i have the same setup...ricks hot shot, shindigen, ...got it right after i burned out 3 regular stators..

    i just get off the bike.. left hand on handlebars, right hand on passenger grab bar, right foot on centerstand......push down and lift with right hand

    its cable run...check for disconnection at the speedo itself. it just screws in.

    also, the kickstand switch will prevent it from starting...as i recall..if its definately fuel pump, try mr. gasket 42s...
