    Do not put more than 30 to 35 lbs on the rack. Front end will get squirrelly in the curves, straights are not bad. I had to re-arrange some heavier items to the trunk and side bags, lighter items to the rack.

    That is a nice bike with the bling. Heck, if I was selling mine out right, I would leave the bling, the Flanders Bar, the ZUMO and even the stuff I took off for the bling. Some the bling is no longer made by the OEM. So get whatever you can get for the bike.

    Well, if winds can flip semi's, I would think with a bike, no problem. Just love those side winds.

    the dealer that I bought the 08 at told me to take off all the chrome and keep it. the extra bling you buy does nothing for the resale or trade.

    Now I know why we carry bags of peanuts on the bike. We stop eat some salty peanuts and drink, we always feel much better.

    I have an 08 with KhromeWerk slip-ons. Initially, had back firing, then re-synced no back firing. On my 05, the backfiring was due to the welds on both Y joints in the exhaust leaking, had the Y joints replaced under warranty. I do not have the AIS plugged and will not do it, I happen to agree with Goose on this. Do a search on V7Goose and you will where he has very good information that may be causing the backfire.

    Why do you want to stay way over there by yourself? Mechanic and I did the first year but hard to get too, besides the Super 8 has a nice level parking lot.

    If I remember right, your multiple 1st gens are in pieces. Do you have 1 up and running yet? And I do know that a certain brown one was in very good shape until someone tried to turn it into a blue machine. :rasberry:
