Thanks guys, I am definetly gonna order the parts and go this route. Third time is getting to be a bit much, however fairly cheap. I just don`t understand why it keeps happening. OH WELL:cool10:!!! -
Once again i find myself pulling the clutch to replace those dang pins.I bought my 83 Venture a year ago and this will be my third tear-down. I do recall a thread about an updated mechanism for this staR SHIFTER some where, does any one recall what the part number or year of bike it will update to Thanks

Just wondering if anyone has a trailer hitch that would fit on my wife's 83 venture royal. We are new to the wounderful world of motorcycling. We are eager to go camping with our venture. Are you aware of another hitch that might fit. thanks very much T-man.
