After looking around the internet and local shops I tired of trying to find a reasonable mount for my iPhone 6 plus that would attach to the handlebar on my 2001 V Star Classic. I decided I should put the good old 3D printer to use and fired up my CAD software and designed my own. I love it and it works great! I just thought I'd share with everyone in case anyone else is in the same boat. Here is a link to the 3D printer design model in case you have your own 3D printer: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:968589 As I said this fits a 6 Plus but later this week I'll be working on a couple other sizes assuming there is interest. It takes about 4 hours to print out but turned out very nice and solid. JB

Keyless entry and / or starting with a passcode wouldn't be too hard to do. I'll add it to the features -

I actually have an arduino / iPad mini project I'm working on to digitalization the dash. Unfortunately I only get to work on it when I have time and money for the electronics. Buddy says I should find a way to mass produce them when I'm done. Not sure I want to deal with the liability though. -
I don't plan on setting more than medium on auto which is 14 in the front and like 44 in the rear. And that's holding up well so far. Eventually I'll get the real bolts and use those but for now I just couldn't handle zero air with my wife and I on there. Every bump you'd swear you were going to break a tooth or something. Honestly I'm surprised I got it working. Wen I bought her the guy said the compressor was bad. It was actually only disconnected and the air lines removed and cut. I jump the compressor with a battery and it kicked on so I decided to try and fix it. Had to do the e4 fix on the class but the increase/high button still doesn't work and I can't get it to. Even resolve red ALL contacts on the board. But I'm amazed it's working now and that it's holding air just fine so far . Can't wait to take her out 2 up and show the wife how a ride this should be. I really appreciate all your help and I love this site

Hey everyone, I've done the E4 fix on my 1st gen (got it a while back second hand) and looking at the air compressor under the trunk there are threaded sockets where I'm guessing hose fittings should go. I also need to know which hoses go where as all of mine are disconnected and/or cut. If anyone has any images or can point me to a place on the site where there are images I would really appreciate it. I've looked through the tech library service manual as well as a 20 minute search on the site and haven't found any. Thanks in advance. JB

Actually, since the fuel gauge monitors the amount of fuel in the tank and the odometer monitors distance traveled, the two could be averaged out to provide a fairly accurate how many MPG you are getting since we know the tank capacity is directly proportionate to the digital meter gauge.
