Thanks for the clarification... I know about the Midnight.. I own one LOL... IMO the chrome forks are a very nice option that make a big difference.
-
Hey Eck is the S model the one with the chrome forks? The Dealer I go to has a 07 and 2 08s and one of them had chrome forks.

The RSV handlebars are like mini apes but because of the fairing they have to be set at a rearward angle and they don't look like apes... You could put them on a RS or RSTD as long as your arms are long enough or if you had the right risers.

Not sure about him being a member here but I bought a set of those from him and they work great.

Not sure what you're thinking here... My point was they don't supply you with a towel like a truckstop does. But they also don't charge you like a Truckstop.

I have a Lowrance iway 500C.. It was the original Motorcycle GPS.. Is water resistant and has a shock insulated 20 gig Hard Drive and mine came with a ram mount and a suction cup mount for the car. It's screen is bigger than most and bigger than some GPS units. It is also an mp3 player with 10 gigs designated for music. I paid $225 on ebay for a used unit.. Not sure if you can still buy these new.. The replacement model is the iway 600 http://www.gpscity.com/g/gps/l/i/iway500c.jpg http://www.builderdepot.com/Lowrance_16/prodimg/iway600c.jpg

Ditto on the Plexus... It not only cleans the windshield but the whole bike... It leaves a shine that rivals the best waxes out there. Plastic, metal, chrome, vinyl, leather....

When I was there we parked in the Hotel's Parking Garage... Bike and Trailer and had no problems... This was in the French Quarter around the corner from Bourbon St.

Yes you can mix the tires... But unless you're strapped for cash I would replace both because those Bridgestones are terrible and Dunlops or Avons are a big improvement over them.. So If you have the money swap em both.

I'm probably gonna do at least a weekend... Funspot!!! While at Funspot check out the Truck with the best fried clams around... couple of guys from Brunswick, ME. Hampton Beach.. I'll be there Fri. 6/20 .. Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes and Little Feat are playing at The Club Casino http://www.laconiamcweek.com/ http://www.casinoballroom.com/

I agree with muffinman... you need a plug/patch.. If you do it yourself you need to scuff up the inside of your tire 3 inches around the hole... the patch will have a peel and stick type contact area but you still want to use rubber adhesive. http://www.stopngo.com/im/3002-400.jpg good luck

I got 3 of these... you can buy them at just about any bike shop 7-12 bucks http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41Q8YERYWWL.jpg

The 2nd gen is about 9 ft long... I believe the 1st gen is shorter... Besides the 9 ft is from the very front of the front tire to the back of the trunk... or in the case of my RSV the end of my fishtails.. The wheelbase is only 66" it will fit on a 8' foot trailer as long as it's not enclosed. That Northern Tool might be the cheapest or Harbor Freight.. HF is a little more but they have stores in PA... I know about 1 in Lancaster. Slap a sheet of 3/4" plywood or T-111 and a couple of 2x4s to make a cheap rail and you're rollin... And when you get done using it to haul your bike you can cut it down and make a cartop carrier homemade trailer to pull behind your bike... Can you say No-Brainer... Sure you can.

In my opinion the Harley, Gold Wing, Nomad, and Valkarie rails are better looking than the RSV ones. http://motors.search.ebay.com/saddlebag-rails_W0QQfromZR40

I'm assuming you want to keep your logons to certain sites Open the program click on Tools then Cookies... You'll see all your cookies in the left box... just pick the ones you want to keep by highlighting it and clicking the right arrow so it ends up in the exclude column. Then you can run the cleaner and your logons should remain intact.
