    Well so far the only negative post to this thread is yours flb... So just chill and maybe they won't show up here. Posts like that is just fueling the fire... We've all seen those posts you're talking about but we don't need to rehash it here.

    Well I'm going back to TX this year... Can't ride the RSV this time... I gotta rent a truck and will be flying into Houston Tues 6/10.. I got like 150 stops between Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas.. I'll be down there until the end of the month. I'll be missing Laconia for the 2nd year in a row... but you gotta go where the work is. Might have some weekends off and can rent a bike for a weekend.. maybe I can hook up with some of you TX guys for a weekend ride.

    I got a few things.. 1st - This bickering is getting as lame and tired as the 1st vs. 2nd Gen thing. 2nd - I'm thinking about a Federal 165/80-15.. Any one try this? or this size? 3rd - We now have a "Dark Side" Group... This is the 1st that I'm aware of on VR.. I'm going to put in a request that we get a Dark Side Thread or Topic or whatever they call it.     As a member of the new Dark Side VR Group I would like to see a Forum or Topic that we could exchange ideas and experiences. I think it should be open to all who are interested as some VRs go forward with their Mods. I think it should go in the Tech Talk Category.. I think the sharing of experiences will make this a safer proposition for all that are willing to try this Mod. Thanks,

    I got Hey Joe by Hendrix, The Bryds, and Deep Purple but not Johnny Rivers... I do have 8 songs by JR... I found a Bit Torrent that has the song though... I'm downoading it myself right now with Bitlord Johnny Rivers 20 Greatest Hits (Brazil)

    Looks like they ripped off the headlight from the Suzuki M-109... I'm not a big fan of the upside down headlight... It looks like it's aimed at the treetops... The pipes look good and that EFI has potential.

    I ran 45 in rear and boosted it to 48 for the 2K miles I hauled the trailer... Almost all mileage was 1 up... I weigh 300 lbs.

    I got about 7500 miles on my Avons and the center of the tire is below the wear bars on the rear. Looks like I'll probably get a few thousand out of the front. I won't be buying Avons again... I'm very disapointed with the mileage.

    Ok thanks.. Yeah I've had the regulator off and cleaned the connections there and in the white plug behind the coolant jug... I don't have much room to get at the white plug.. I have a regulator coming Mon... I will change that out Mon and hope for the best... worst case my stator is bad and I have a spare regulator.

    Not to me... I have an mp3 player built into my GPS with 5 gigs of space,,, I also have over 4000 songs on my PC

    I have the Avon smaller front tire and I won't be doing these again... My rear Avon is done after less than 7,500 miles.. running 46-48 lbs. I don't like the Avons on wet roads it feels like riding on ice. I think the smaller front tire is better in the parking lots but lack stability when running hard through curves and tends to wander and reacts badly to bumps in the curves... I'm going back to Dunlops.. gonna try the Elite 3s... No more Avons for me.

    I don't know about Linux but I think there's a way to partition your Hard Drive and make it a dual boot system... That way you can try the Linux and if you don't like it your XP will still work... I did it a few years ago with Red Hat but I couldn't get the Linux to work so I just erased it after trying to figure it out without sucsess.

    Dude, How did you narrow it down to the Regulator? I've been having similar problems and I ordered a regulator. My connections were pretty clean tho.
