Cool I never read where you started this. is it full scale? it would be handy at a rest stop ! maybe you could make it a pop up camper also for long trips so did you build it, come on down I can upholster it for you.

I agree keep them bolth if you can, I noticed bolth have some chrome on the saide edges of the fairing. someone here was asking abouth this not long ago. I think Dan. is it somthing you installed or made? -
Ive got a cover from Tourking, its a great cover well worth the money, good quality fabric, (And thats my trade ) nice tote bag for storage and good fit on my 1st gen.

the clearcoat over my pinstripes is cracking a bit, not bad yet to need new paint. I do have some small cracks in the suspect areas of the trunk and side panels they dont show unless your real close, I was sondering if there was a way to repair then and not need paint other then just supporting them from the backside, like has anyone found a way to fill the crack and not expand it? BTW were going to need pics of the new paint , in progress qwould be cool too

I got that 85 dash condor yesterday and took 30k off my bike the speedomoter was froozen on mine and decided to just install the new dash rathen then split it open like you said. what a pain geting to the 2 plugs in the wire harness without removing the fairing. did it though but found out the difference in the 85 VR dash it had a different small plug with 5 pins over my 4 pin plug. i did some rewiring and installed the old plug and all is good. the 5th wire must have been for the venture cruise light. funny thing was even with the 4 pin plug off all worked and ran fine. . had to put some miles on her today to check it all out -
