Hey starfan thanks for the info. I am starting to find that out(Money for the trunk), definitely will have to loook hard i guess. Did you have any problems mounting your hard bags? Sorry for no pics yet, I am kinda computer illiterate, I will try and get some pics up as soon as I can. I would definitely like to do that and progress the pics as i mod my bike for everyone to see, who knows maybe it will help someone like me in the future, lol. Anyway i appreciate all of the replies from everyone and everyone ride safe!

Wes, thanks for pics. looks great exactly what im goin for. Taz I do have the large slant bags with 4x2 exhaust. Any info on trunks and to what mods or brackets i would need for that.

I have a 1998 Royal Star Tour Classic that i would like to mount hard saddle bags on. I am wondering if my current mounts and supports will be fine to mount say tour deluxe or venture bags on. I currently have soft leather bags but like i said would like to go to hard bags and possibly a trunk, again maybe a venture trunk. Just curious if anyone has attempted this and what modifications if any were required. any info would be great!
