My wife says it hurts. We got caught last year in Colorado, on our way home from Sturgis. One little cloud or two in the sky, I could see the sun shining just ahead of us, and then the sprinkles went to heavy rain and then hail stones. I ducked behind the fairing and she was jumping from side to side and hollering at me to stop. The sunshine was just ahead of us, but nooo, I could not stop and get soaked also. so to this day, I hear how I am suppose to stop any time it hails , just so she doesn't get beat up. She didn't even get one hail dent, maybe a few bruises, but no dents. I still laugh about it, she looses her humor when we talk about this. weldin. Bill

Well I guess Im getting older. That being said, In college some 30 years ago, a professor showed how west Texas would be a tropical environment in 20 years because of the climate changing. Well here I am , still in west Texas and it is still semi arid, some call it high desert. I have enjoyed the nice weather this week to ride every day so far (60s and 70s), chilly mornings but great afternoons. Great chance for rain this weekend, maybe a soaker? Bill

Big Bend - Victor Valdez, the Singing Man of Boquillas

I never got to see Victor, but we are hoping to go to that area this spring again. Great memories, three foot tall bluebonnets down river road. Bill -
I would search out for a homeopathic/natural Dr and see what they can offer to your daughter. Much of what they do is very cheap and non prescription and the Medical Dr are not interested if there isn't profit involved. It is called practicing medicine, because it is not an exact science. Best of luck with your daughter. Bill

Hey Trader, I do not agree with you. What I read was that someone could play their music too loud , too late, turn your lights on and leave them on-costing your wallet and disguard their trash in your yard, disrespect and insult you when you request they act like a citizen, and do this on a weekly basis, your fine with that. Its all good til they piss in your post tosties, then how politically correct are you gona be. Oh and GOD does care where the dotted line is---ever heard of the promised land? Im done Good luck and GOD bless Bill

Ok we have heard this many years, over and over. In Sturgis this year the Yamaha reps did visit with me a bit. I ask when they are going to come out with a new touring bike? They laughed and replied that this was this years number one question. Then one did say that mother Yamaha has had a bike in r&d for some time and it is due to come out in September of this year. I did ask if they had found a new cassette deck manufacturer? I got no reply. He says that they have spent so much money in the development phase that it needs to have a 10 year run to be profitable. He did say that it is fuel injected and it "looks like a motorcycle" whatever that means (I think he was poking fun at my wing) he would not reveal what power plant it has or any good details. So....is this real or is it another hoax? I got home and went to my local dealer, and he did say that the word on the street was that it is going to be introduced in September but had no details, only that it is suppose to be coming. So now you know what I know. Jakester

I wrote service years ago for a car dealer. We were always ask what causes that, My response was usually that, it was driven too much when it was new:) or the nut behind the wheel was loose. It was known on a few of the people that when it was payment time, the vehicle would be brought into the shop for nothing/everything. Often showing on the order that we were unable to duplicate the problem. Yes we saw our fair share of these people you refer to. your service writer should be your buffer between you and the client, I always was, as some of the tech had little or no people skills..
