Wonderful gift. Now set a time--once a day , or once a week, etc. and make your one on one time to visit. I added a phone to my familys plan and gave to my Mom when she was alive. It gave me peace knowing, if she got stranded, she could call me or somebody for help. She barely if ever used it, but it was there. Bill

I thought that was the new HD v12 rod engine? No cooling jacket, oilpump, or ignition? Underpowered but pretty cool looking. Maybe I am wrong cause the words made no sence to me ---just looked kinda forin? Bill

I put the bypass togle on the neck cover in front of the tank. Found a ignition switch on internet (new) printed it off and carried it to my local dealer ---he matched it and beat it by a couple of bucks (around $145). took the new switch to a local locksmith and he rekeyed it to my origional (about $35). After all that---not another hint of trouble. My new correct keyed switch is in the workbench.

Possible solution for the high cost of prescription drugs

Big pharma is trying to take control of Congress and the Dr offices as many of us have found out. Canada pays no research and development fees, so they can save up to half. I always ask for samples or try to go generic. -
I have used b-12 on trips as a additive. The first time i broke 50+ mpg it was using b-12. Have used it for years in everything but diesels. It works for me. Keep both seafoam and b-12 handy. Bill:thumbsup2:

A good workout is more about form and repetitions than pounds picked up. For me, the third day after a brutal workout is the worst, as far as pain is concerned. I have found that soaking the sore muscles in alcohol (beer) from the inside sure helps.---The alcohol thins the blood, thus carying the oxygen to the affected muscles washing away the lactic acid and relieving the pain. That is my story and I am sticking to it...

Gas Miliage

03 midnight 32,000miles---best mpg ever 54 in NM mountains. Been over 50mpg 3 or 4 times. Worst about 32mpg in high winds at highway speeds. Overall average about 40mpg. I do not want to touch anything until something seems wrong. It has k&n filters, dyna ignition, and sampson fishtail pipes. Bill -

Went to walmart and bought the small round cone shaped mirrors in the RV section for around three or four bucks. They have adhesive backs, so I placed them on the inside of the stock mirror and they work good for eleminating the blind spots.

Inversion table works for me. I am on it two or three times a week. The disc are like sponges that are our shock absorbers---when they go flat no more shock absorber. Disc are mostly water --by stretching them out (thus hanging upside down) water can seep back into the disc providing relief. By the way , accuratly measure yourself before you start, I grew an inch and a half in height. If someone told me i could grow at my age I would laughed at them. But it did happen to me. It may not be perminant fix , it works for me for now. Bill:fingers-crossed-emo

Please think of my Mom
jakester replied to kenw's topic in Inspirational, Motivational, Prayer Requests, Etc.
Prayers sent, I lost mom in Feb this year---I would watch the docs like a hawk---Do not let them talk you into something that you or your mom are not comfortable with. I believe my mothers quality of life could have been better if she did not have all the procedures that she had. This is a tough time for you and my heart goes out to both of you. God Bless. Never stop praying. -
