  1. I am an insurance agent. This ACA is not profitable for the companies or pratical. The government makes a plan and wants private companies to shoulder all the risk. It is a push toward a single payer system. Medicare cuts are paying for approx. 40% to 50% of this cluster of a plan. Seniors wake up! It will drive many agents out of work. Not a good plan period. It is time to WAKE UP AMERICA and reclaim our country. Business premiums are est to rise 50% and individual rates 100% --what is affordable about this. Waivers to large political contributors and congress? If it is good enough for us....It is good enough for them.

  2. Just saw on Fox news. One biker arrested and one turned their self in. The biker on the initial bike that was ran over is possible parapalegic, his wife wants the suv driver to pay. Now so far the reports say the bikes had closed off entrances to the freeway so they could "take it over" The suv was celebrating a wedding anniversary with wife and child, and became stuck on the freeway. Now we can all look back and make better decisions that it is over. I will say this pisses me off to see the bikers act his way. Thus far the only thing the suv driver did was to try to flee to protect his family. This is the action of punks. If they are hurt, GOD bless them, it is the result of their own bad decision. They are lucky only one biker was hurt. May we all live to make better choices another day.

  3. The last time I went down......I was in traffic and the young couple in front of me was not paying attention, texting I think. As the light turned yellow they slammed on the brakes. I locked up the back brake, grabbed the front brake, handle bars jerked left, bike stopped. My feet were not down, bike went down. I was able to step off. I was nervously shaking and had a hard time picking it up. Thank you Lord only the pride bone was hurt.

My bad for not paying attention to a stale green light.

  4. I picked up a new to me bike in May, It came with a Leatherman Road sofa with a utopia back rest. So far so good, most comfy seat to date for me. As mentioned before....each person has a unique fit for their seat and style. Pick wisely.

  5. My thoughts....Who knows how many-many years this has been going on. Only has it been brought to light recently. With technology growing and moving on and on, who knows when is enough. Things like cell phones and on star, allow tracking / monitoring in all areas accessible. Smart electrical meters monitor usage as well as pattern habits of when you are home or not and when you fall out of normal pattern it is noted for future use. Hey have you looked at google earth and typed in your address. Impressive satellite shot. If this is what the general public can see, how much better/higher resolution are "they" watching. Yes very disturbing, however I will continue to live my life the best I know how and just keep on going. What else can be done, unless we try to move off the "grid". Who knows how far it goes?:confused24:

  7. Texas law says like kind and quality, The vehicle is returned to its condition within (I believe 20 seconds ) before the accident. (designed for multi car accidents). Pull ebay adds, craigs list adds, and yes KBB pricing as well as NADA, auto trader. Also add any accessories, radio, bumpers, hitches, window tint, dual exhaust, vent visors, anything that adds value, or cost money. The loss estimator and the claims adjustor are usually two different people. Get your facts together and have a sit down with your information. A total loss is usually 60% of the value of the vehicle in repairs. Let them justify to you in writing where their numbers are at.

Do not sign until you are good and ready.

    Good Luck.

  8. Yamaha makes a dandy v twin in the raider. I have owned one, stupid fast, smooth and around 42 avg mpg. I believe it was advertised as the fastest v twin in production in 08 or 09, 11 sec quarter mile stock. Sold It for a windshield bags and a backrest ( rsv) . To each his own.

  9. I Just got a rsv new to me. Kick stand difficult to operate and loose. The bushing was about $6 or $8 . Lubed it, reinstalled it....oh what a nice difference. Remove kickstand, separate bushing, grease, you will be happy happy happy.

  11. Just a thought,,, What if Yamaha came out with a new engine configuration, new technology, electronics, fuel injection, air flow, the works. How would we receive this? I think Harley is moving forward, I truly enjoy my rsv, but is this not what we have heard over and over again wanting Yamaha to do. Now that Harley does it , somehow it is bad?

    What do you think?
