Somebody should jump all over this baby. What a beautiful bike, and a color-matched trailer too. Cheap! If I didn't already have an RSV...... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-Royal-Star-XVZ13-Yamaha-Royal-Star-Venture_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem4399c84a00QQitemZ290342849024QQptZUSQ5fmotorcycles#ht_734wt_1165

Sorry to hear about this Bob. I wasn't even aware that you had a Vulcan. Is that the bike that your wife usually rides? Hope you heal up soon, at least quickly enough to come to our Southern Indiana Ride. If not on the bike, then cage it! Joe

Bill, The ride on Saturday will start in Corydon, which is just to the west of Louisville right off I-64. I sure hope you can come! Joe

I'm willing to bet it's a Photoshop job.

Wrench, Glad you're coming!!! Going to be a great time! Joe

Are you running Windows XP? If so, do you have the original Windows XP installation cd that came with the computer? Not a "System Restore" cd, but the Microsoft Windows XP cd. If you do, you can do a "Repair Installation"....I can guide you through it....which will fix your issue without removing any of your saved files. Let me know. Joe

Don't forget the most important item.... a roll of Toilet Paper!! :rotf::rotf:

Wow. And to think that I debated for at least 2 weeks on whether or not to share my good experience with MotorKote. I was afraid that the naysayers would jump right in and tell me how stupid I was for adding something to my oil. And then I'd have to respond, and before long we'd be a spittin' and a-whumpin on each other and the thread would have to be yanked. Thanks everyone for not letting that happen. Warms my heart to hear that it is helping others. Joe

Dan, Does any of this info help? [ame=http://www.sysopt.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1484222]Missing favorites on MSN - SysOpt Forums[/ame] According to this, the favs are not on your computer but on the MSN server. If you try to get in from another computer you may still see them. Joe

Hey Dan, We will probably meet for breakfast (thinking Cracker Barrel) at 8:00 Sat morning, then head out when everyone is done eating. I'm thinking at least an hour for breakfast with a big group like I am anticipating. So....we should be ready to roll around 9 or 9:15. Joe

Maybe a set of Blinders for her???? :hurts:

They say you should run it for an entire oil change cycle, then skip the next 2 or 3. In other words, add it about every 3rd or 4th oil change. Joe

And GOOD thoughts, Bronson! I'll do both!! Joe

finfan125, this ride is open to anyone who likes riding, meeting like minded people, eating good food, laughing, telling big tales (fat lies), etc. We don't care what somebody rides. So, here's what I have so far. We will be basing the rides out of Corydon. I will be staying at the Super 8 or Baymont, they are within eyesight of each other at the interchange of I64 and Indiana 135. Probably will choose the Super 8 as I am familiar with it and there is an O'Charley's restaurant right next to the property. Ate there last Saturday evening, good food and excellent service too. We will meet on Friday evening Oct. 2nd for dinner for those arriving on Friday. Time and place to be announced. On Saturday we will have ride heading out West on 62, taking 66 down to Tell City, then back up toward 62. We will stop at St. Meinrad's, a Catholic Monastery and publishing center. Very interesting place to visit and rest a bit. More details on this ride will come later. On Sunday we will head north on a wandering route which will eventually take us to Nashville, Indiana. In Nashville we'll let everyone explore on their own for whatever time people want before heading back a shorter and more direct (although curvy as heck) route to Corydon. Those wanting to head toward home on Sunday can certainly do so, some of our group will be staying in Corydon Sunday evening and heading home on Monday. Hope a lot can make it for this event. Might be one of the last nice, long weekends of the year, never know. I will be contacting some of you who live in the area for some assistance on restaurant choices, reservations, etc if you are willing. Joe

Well, here I go..... In my hot little hands sets a Yamaha I-basket, fresh off the UPS truck. Going to get it installed one evening this week, and am praying that this will be the resolution to my problem. I'll for sure let you know! Joe

Will do, Big Guy! I've been using it for about 2500 miles, so feel fairly confident that it is good stuff. Fuel mileage increased also....not sure if it is totally the motorkote oil treatment, or the free fuel treatment that they send along with your order. I do know that when I add the fuel treatment I can tell a difference. At least I THINK I can!!! Joe

I ride my RSV pretty hard. Usually hit the rev limiter at least once or twice every few days. Not a bit of slippage. Don't know why, I ain't that smart. Joe

Don't really know if it is the volume that changed, or maybe just the frequency of the sound. The best way to describe it is that it is "softer". Don't know if that makes any sense, but that's the way I hear it. Joe

I emailed them before buying my first batch of the stuff. They assured me in writing that the product would NOT harm wet clutch systems. And so far it has not harmed mine. Another member here has been running it for 2 years with no harm. Joe

https://www.motorkote.com/default.aspx Be sure to click the link for "MotorKote vs Your Product" on the left and watch the videos. Pretty interesting. Joe

Well, this is an easy one to answer..... If money were no object, that means that I'd be Snarley Bill, and then I'd buy something different every year.....and never get rid of the old ones until the garage was clear full.....so then I could have them all and my biggest problem would be deciding which one to ride every day! :D:D Joe

I guess we can have a 3-way contest....winner of the noisiest clutch basket gets a steak dinner paid by the other 2????? I can almost taste it now!!! Like Cougar, my whine/chirp/scream was reduced by about half. Unfortunately, that's not enough. My I basket will be delivered today....hoping most of the rest will be fixed by that. Joe

Dang it Bill, stop it! I've always kind of had a hankering for a Nomad, and you ain't helping me any!!! Joe

WHOOPS.....I should have read more carefully. That link I posted does NOT include the mounting bar. Sorry.
