  1. I feel for you Trader been there. Bike will be much better when you finish and you will be wiser.
  2. You know I got too spice this up some, "Ride like Hell and You will soon get there".
  3. I agree inline fuse blown. Tip, take care with removing chrome piece on outer faring tabs are easily broken especially when they are cold. You can warm it slightly with a hair dryer before attempting removal.
  4. Appears to be a lot of pot hole and railroad damage to me. Just my observation.
  5. Cool, try J&P Cycles they have a meteric catalog for these bikes.
  6. You really need to think this decision over no more vacation or sick days too reward yourself just 7 days a week doing whatever you choose. What a life, been that way since 2010 not a rookie retire anymore congrats.
  7. I named my 08 Harley, "Sundance", because of the pearl orange color and the 14 Indian is, "Blue Streak", because of the hole shot speed and arm pulling torque it has.
  8. The only thing I can think is the Golden Years came about shortly after Social Security Act was enacted. Sorry too say it no longer applies since Congress has got their share of it. Wait till the Tea PARTY bunch takes and replaces our checks with a monthly voucher where we have to document all our expenditures.
  9. My Dad had a 56 Olds like in a couple of those pictures red and white two tone those were the muscle cars in those days. I got my drivers license in that Olds. Local service stations would engage in gas wars which would drop gas too as low as .17 cents a gallon those were the days.
  10. That's cheep too I might jump on it myself.
  11. Thanks Puc, for willing to share with us it's the thought that counts.
  12. I'll pass, probably tastes like, "chicken", anyway.
  13. Fully restored 79 Yamaha TZ750. What can I say I have a" Need for Speed. Also, thanks up-front, Pucster.:biker:
  14. Oh good, now maybe when I click on My Activity under my Profile I'll see something besides Cowpuc's activity.:clap2:b
  15. Merry Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year too Tippy and You for 2016.
  16. Most Hondas I've worked on have 15mm x 1.5mm constant series pitch threads. A hex die runs about 10 bucks at the local nut & bolt store here.
  17. So this is your tale today. Yesterday you said my add was deleted by you and now conveniently there is also memory loss in who's add was deleted. Let me jog your memory I placed my add to run for a year which has run for about seven months. Haven't received any alert E-Mails warning of it running out either. In the future leave my adds along.
  18. EKC, your full of crap, My add was never posted in the watering hole what's your problem anyway put my add backup you idiot. Anyway it's been up since 7-15 why take it down now. Come up with a real reason for taking it down.
  19. Cowpuc, I guess some moderator on here decided to delete my add again. Anyway the Chieftian is a great bike not perfect but in buying and riding motorcycles the last 50 years have yet to find a perfect one. I'll reload my add when I get caught up this week. Oh bully for you whoever took my add down!!!:nanner:
  20. Check my 2014 Indian Chieftian in the classifieds still has over 3 years warranty left. No issues trouble free will entertain an offer need to sell.
  21. I believe your problem is in the front forks. You said it wonders and the triple tree bearings were changed. Try changing your fork oil and refilling with auto-transmission fluid, yes it works great for bike forks. This has worked for me a lot better than Japan fork oil also without the fish oil smell.
  22. It was a riders honest opinion about his bike and previous owned bike. That's what that was about.
  23. I feel your pain brother both of us are Vets which means we stepped forward to take an oath too defend this nation no matter what. We both still have that same mindset so when the situation arises we will perform politically correct or not!!!!!
  24. I'm in the process of building and installing a sidecar on a Honda VTX 1800 Retro. Just finished my lower mounts today. This is something I always wanted to try so this winter it will keep me busy. I think the Honda has enough torque to be up for pulling one.
  25. Good luck on your purchase of the 04 Venture. Next thing is to send Don twelve bucks and join this form and learn even more about your bikes and much more of everything else you either care to know or rather not know. Anyway we are just a bounch of M/C riding junkies with no known cure.
